In the Name of God, Amen, I William Thompson of Sadsbury Township Lancaster County and Province of Pennsylvania being weake in body but of sound memory do this 13th day of April in the year one thousand seven hundred and seventy three make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following (that is to say) I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Elenor Thompson the third part of my personal estate and the third part of the rent and proffits of my plantation or real estate during her life. I also allow her full privelege of the house I now live in and it is my will and I order it, that my plantation be not sold during her live. I give and bequeath unto my son Nathan Thompson my plantation to him his heirs and assigns for ever he paying the legaces hereinafter mentioned. I give unto my son James Thompson the sum of one hundred pounds to be paid two years after my decease also one feather bed and the furniture thereto belonging and the young horse he frequently did ride and as he has the management of my affairs these years past I give to him my said son James whatever cash is in his hands. I give unto my daughter Margret Walker twenty pounds to be paid out of my estate five years after my decease. I give unto my daughter Sara Loughead twenty pounds to be paid out of my estate three years after my decease. I give unto my son Andrew Thompson twenty pounds to be paid out of my estate six years after my decease. The remaining part of my estate I give unto my son Nathan Thompson. I give to my son Robert Thompson _____________ and constitute him the executor of this my will and I do hereby utterly disalow revoke and disanoll all other wills and testaments heretofore by me made ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.
