IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN the twenty ninth day of March in the year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and ninety four I Gabriel Morrison in Colerain Township and County of Lancaster & State of Pennsylvania being weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be Given unto God therefor calling unto mind the mortality of my body and Knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul into the hands of God that gave it and for my body I recommend it to the Earth to be buried in a Chistian like and decent maner at the derection of my Executor not doubting but at the General resuurection I shall receve the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such worldly Estate wherewith it pleased God to blefs me in this life I give devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form FIRST I give and bequeath to my son in Law Samuel McClelan and his too sons James &

Samuel five shillings

to each one to his daughters Jean & Sarah I bequeath five shillings to each one to be paid one year after my decease

to Kethren McClelan I bequeth one case of drawers to be given her too years after my decease

I likewise bequeath unto Martha & Mary McClelan one case of drawers to be given them at the eage of Eighteen years

likewise I give and bequeath to my well beloved son Alexander Morrison whom I likewise Constitute make and ordain my only and Sole executor of this my last will and Testement all and Singular my lands Mefauages and Tenements by him freely to be pofsefsed and enjoyed and that he may dispose of them as he thinks proper with all my property of whatsoever sort or kind with all my money Notes Bonds and Book accounts and I do utterly disalow revoke and disanul all and every other former Testaments wills and Legacies requests and executors by me in any ways before this time named willed and bequeathed ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and Testament

IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the day and year above written.

Signed and sealed published pronounced and delivered by the said Gabriel Morison as his last will and Testament in the presents of us viz. Daniel MConnel, Samuel M Connel

Samuel McConnell one of the Witnesses sworn by uplifted hand says in addition to the usual oath that Daniel McConnell and other Witness is dead that he was deponants father that he saw him write the name "Daniel McConnell" subscribed to the within will in the presence of Gabriel Morrison & further saith not --- Samuel MConnel Sworn before me & at Same time Alexr. Morrison the exor sworn by uplifted hand April 30th 1799

LANCASTER COUNTY FS. On the 30th day of April A D 1799 Before me the Subscriber personally appeared Samuel McConnel one of teh subscribing Witnesses to the foregoing will and his Gorporal oath taken by uplifed hand according to Law did declare and say that he was present and saw and heard Gabriel Morrison the Testator therein named sign seal publish pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument in writing as and for his last will & Testament and that at the time of the doing thereof he was sound and well disposing mind memory and understanding according to the best of his Knowledge Observation and Belief.

BE IT REMEMBERED that on the 30th day of April A. D. 1799 The last will & Testament of Gabriel Morrison late of Colrain Township in the County of Lancaster deceased was proved in due form of Law and Letters Testamentary thereon were granted to Alexander Morrison the sole Executor therein named he having first been duly Qualified well & truly to administer the Estate of the said decendent and Especially to Exhibit a true and perfect Inventory thereof into the Registers Office at Lancaster in one month from this date and to render a just and true account of his Executorship on said Estate in one year or when thereto Lawfully required Given under my HAND and the Seal of the said Office.
