I HANNAH DANIEL,of the Township of Lampeter in the County of Lancaster and the State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind memory and uderstanding for which acknowledges thankfulness to the all wise disposer of events, do make and ordian and constitue this my last will and testiment in manner and form as follows viz:

First my will is that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon as convieniently can be after my decease by my executors herein after named.Item: I give and bequeath to my two daughters MARGARET (Daniel) McCAFFERY and JANE (Daniel) MERCER, all my wearing apparel to be equally divided amoungst them as they can best agree and further give and bequeath t my daughter JANE MERCER all my kitchen furniture of every disription. Item: I give and bequeath unto my son ROBERT DANIEL, the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars which is to include a small note I hold against him, that is to say the nte is to be counted as part of the legacy, but no interest to ne counted o said note. Item: I give and bequeath unto my daughter MARGARET McCAFFERY the sum of one hundred dollars to be at her absoulte disposal. Ifurther will and direct that three hundred dollars be put out at interest by my executr within one year after my decease at five per cent the interest bepaid yearly there after to my daughter MARGARET and her receipt alone to be a sufficient discharge for the same, during her natural life and after her decease the aforsaid three hundred dollars I will and bequeath to my daughter JANE MERCER herheir and assigns. Item: I give and bequeath to my siad daughter JANE MERCER the sum o our hundred dollars Item: I give and bequeath to my son WILLIAM DANIEL four children the sum of two hundred and forty dollars that's to say REBECCA, MARGARET, DEBORAH, and WILLIAM DANIEL, each the um of sixty dollars. Item: I give and bequeath unto my GrandDaughter HANNAH MERCER, the sum of one hindred dollars together with my chest of drawers, one feather bed bedsteady and bedding her choice. Six ush bottom chairs and one mahogany card table. Item: I give and bequeath unto my grand daughter MARY MERCER, one hundred dollars together withone rocking chair and three windsor chairs one corner cupboard and breakfast table one fether bed,bedsteady and bedding also my large green chest. Item: I give and bequeath unto my Grand son ANDREW MERCER, the sum of one hundred dollars.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my thre Grand children viz: MARGARET, MARTHA and WILLAIM MERCER, each the sum of Fifty dollars. Item: I give and bequeath unto my two Grandsons viz: JAMES and ROBERT SHANNON each the sum of forty dollars Item: I give and bequeath unto my Grandson ANDREW SHANNON sixty dollars. And further it is my will that my executors comply with the forgoing grants and beqeathment as soon as the money owing to me by notes and bonds can be collected after my decease, and should there be any losses sustained rendering such complyance impracticable though a deficincy of funds, it is my will that a proportinable part be deducted from all the aforesaid legacies with the exception of whar is divided to y daughter JANE MERCER whose legacy I allow to be aid without any deduction. And further will and diret that should there be any funds or overplus in my executors hands (after deducting all proper costs or charges) or any house hold furniture not otherwise disposed of, or any goods or stocks or any personal property whatsoever or where so ever that the same descend to my daughter JANE MERCER to her her heirs and assigns forever. And further it is my will that my exectors settle up and pay all the legaces as herein specified within one year after my decease and lastly my express will is and hereby declare that if any difference dispute questions or controversy should arise or happen concerning any thing whatsoever contained in this my last will and testiment that no Lawyer shall be conncelled on the occasion nor no suites shall be brought or commenced i law or iquity or otherwise, but in case any person, or legatee herein named shall go so far counter on contrary to my desire and will as to counsel lawers or the occasion or commence a suit or suits at law concerning thia my last will and testiment, then and in that case my express will and full itention is that they or such person be written excluded and forever declared from any part of my estate and there share or part be counted as the revisions of my estate and descena as herein particularly mentioned.

And lastly I nominate constitue and appoint my trusted friend MOSES WHITSON of Sadsbury Townsip, Chester County, executor of this my last will and testiment hereby revolking disannulling and makeing void all other will or wills by me hereafore made declarig this and no other to be my last will and testiment. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my had and seal this twenty-first day of first month in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty one. 1841 Signed sealed and pronounced by the testaor as her last will and testiment in the presence of us who hane at her request signed as witnesses thereto:
