Answer: in the year 1759 in Ireland
Have you any record of your age and if so where is it
Answer:I have one at home
Monroe Where where you living when called into service; where have you lived since the revolution war and where do you live now Answer:I was living in Lancaster County Pa when I entered the servie and have lived all the time since the close of the Revolution except one year in Pa until I moved to this County which was ten years ago.
How were you called into service, where you drafted, did you volunteer or were you a substitute if a substitute for whom:
I was a substitute for my brother a two months tour and also a substitute for James Clancy one month and was kept to drive the wagon five months or more
State the name of the regular officers who were with troops where you served Such continel said militia regiment as you can recollect and the general cercumstances of your service
Answer: there was no regulars but all militia where I served
Did you ever recieve a discharge from the service and if so by whom was it given and what has become of it:
Answer: only a general discharge with orders to draw provisions to last us home
State the names of persons to whom you are know in your present neighborhood and who can atest to your character for verosity and thier belief of your services as a soldier of the revolution
