The land was bought by Mary Ann Bishop(widow) in 1879 from the estate of Samuel Park Maxwell at public Auction for $1300.00 being a total size of 6 acres 104 perches.Prior owners were Harriet Stewart who bought the land from Sarah R. McPherson
The Drumore School District Sold the School in 1953 to Hilary and Esther Sheets (husband & wife) at public auction for $2350.00
