In the distance at left is Mahanoy City Colliery; Kaier's Brewery;
the power plant, and to the right is the Family Theatre
(now the Mini Mart at the corner of First Street and E. Centre Streets)

The Church at the extreme right is believed to be a Baptist Church
which was located in the 100 block of E. Market St.
(this Church is no longer there)
