Joseph A Stevenson

FORMER RACCOON MAN IS HONORED

The Rev. Dr. Joseph A. Stevenson of San Jose, Calif., former Pittsburgh
pastor, has been elected general director of the department of moral welfare of the Presbyterian Board of Christian Education, according to word received from Philadelphia.  Dr. STEVENSON, born in Raccoon, Washington county, succeeds the Rev. Dr. J. W. Claudy of Pittsburgh.  Mrs. G. M. Kerr of Candor is a sister and the Rev. J. V. Stevenson of Raccoon is a brother of Dr. Stevenson.
