John McComb

John McComb was born in Mahoning Township, Lawrence Co., on 15 Jun 1814, the son of John and Sarah Hanna McComb.

In 1850, he joined the Erie Conference of the Methodist Church, and as a teacher and preacher of the gospel.

Rev. McComb married Sarah Wallace the daughter of Robert Wallace on 2 Feb 1837.They became the parents of nine children.

Rev. McComb died 29 Sept 1898 in London, Mercer Co., at the age of 83.  He is buried in Nazareth Cemetery.
