the age of twenty; B.S., Grove City College, 1885; A.M., Grove City
College, 1890; B.D., Drew Theological Seminary, 1891; entered the Erie
Conference, 1885; appointments: '85, '86, Harlansburg, Pa.; '87,
Petersburg, O.; '88, Volant, Pa.; '89-'91, at Drew; '91-'94, Clarion,
Pa.; studied the C. L. S. C. course; married Miss Kate S. Burns, Sept.
23, 1886.
