Alexander M. Keifer

 

Alexander M. Keifer, son of James and Rebecca Keifer, was born at Manor, Pa., Feb. 13th, 1862; was educated at Franklin and Marshall College and the Eastern Theological seminary; licensed May 23d, 1889, by Clarion Classis; and ordained by the same Classis on the same date. Pastorates: Plum Creek charge, Pa.,1889-1890; Greenville, Pa., 1890-1909; Superintendent of St. Paul's Orphans' Home from May 14th, 1909, to date. Married to Miss Rosa Welty, May 14th, 1889; married, second time, to Miss Maida L. Henning. One child, Mary Rosa, now Mrs. Rev. I. G. Nace.
