Lookup Volunteers
When asking for a lookup, please provide as much information
as possible, giving full names and dates if possible. Be sure
to include which reference you are referring to when sending in
your request and put the words "Franklin County Lookup"
in your subject line. Please do not send in a blanket request,
for example: looking for all of the Jones in Franklin County-we
are volunteers, not paid researchers! Your request should be limited
to one name per request and please be sure to thank the volunteer
for their time!
- From Loretta Lynn Layman I would be willing to do lookups from "The Clan Linn in the Twentieth Century" by Roger Bower Linn, which records the family of Hugh and Sarah (Widney) Linn, who helped to found the village of Concord in the late 18th century.

- I am currrently putting together a list of the people
buried in the Coble graveyard in St. Thomas. I suspect this has
already been done by the local Historical Society, but we are
enjoying looking at all the stones and trying to figure out how
each person fit into the Coble family (my grandmother's line).
We are photographing the gravestones and trying to decipher all
of the inscriptions.
- I also have a history of the Besecker family of Franklin
County put together by my aunt.
