Asbury Methodist Church Cemetery

Asbury Methodist Church Cemetery is a small to medium sized active cemetery (currently a little over 100 burials) located on the southwest corner of Asbury Road and West Ridge Road (US Route 20). The Asbury United Methodist Church is located just adjacent to the cemetery which is right on the corner. I do not have a full history of this cemetery, but will add any other information to this page as it becomes available. Some burials are reported to have been moved from the original church site near Millfair and Swanville Roads (Wheaton Meeting House). There is one known Revolutionary War veteran buried here (Daniel Wheaton). The entire portion of the cemetery closest to West Ridge Road are Nicholson burials, and this is the most visible surname in the cemetery.
