I have over 20 years of experience doing library and courthouse
genealogical research here in Allegheny County, Pa. I also read old
German script. I charge $15/hour plus postage and copy costs, with a
minimum retainer of $50. I have very little backlog; the results of the
search are usually on the way back to you within two weeks after I
receive your check or money order.

I am a professional researcher specializing in Allegheny County. My rate is
$20/hour plus exact photocopying costs. No mileage or travel time charge. I
request at least a two hour deposit before beginning research.

I have ten years experience in professional work, plus thirty more in my own
personal genealogy. Have served as treasurer, director, and secretary for
Western Pennsylvania Genealogical Society. I am Chair of the Committee for
First Families of Western Pennsylvania and serve as one of the judges.

I live in Atlanta, GA and use the NARA facility in East Point, GA. I research census records 1790 - 1920 for the entire United States. I also have access to the full Rev. Pension File for ALL pensioners and the Index to the Civil War Pensioners. They also keep the WWI Draft Registration Cards on file at this facility. My experience includes 10 years of general genealogy.

My fee schedule is as follows:
$7.50/hour + Copies + Postage for Census Research
$10.00 + Copies + Postage for Rev. War Pension File
$7.50 for Civil War Pension Index
$7.50 for WWI Draft Card
All fees are paid after the work is complete.
