Lowell Massachusetts Census 1850 and 1860 has James and Maria Buncher and family. James is an engraver. Their children are James and wife Jane, Walter and wife Elizabeth, Emma, Henry, Charles, Frank and Ellen in 1850. Only Charles, Frank and Ellen were born in Massachusetts, Frank being 12 years old. Henry, age 16 was born England so an estimated year of immigration for the family is between 1834 and 1838

Dayton, Newaygo Co. Michigan census 1870 shows Marrion [nee Kingsford] Lossing, widow, age 47 born England and daughter Jennie, 21 b Canada West and son Walter 14 b Canada West.
