Consolidated Jewish Surname Index: Indexes more than 370,000 Jewish surnames from more than 31 different databases. These databases, combined, include more than 2,000,000 entries.

Jewish Records Indexing - Poland: Indexes to 1.2 million 19th-century Jewish birth, marriage and death records from over 200 Kingdom of Poland towns, including towns in Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine. Also Check separate Surname Lists under your town name & other JRI-Poland projects.

Vsia Rossia Database: Over 32,000 entries from Russian Empire business directories, 1895-1911.

All Belarus Database: Over 150,000 records: vital records, voter lists, business directories, ghetto records. Be sure to check other Belarus SIG projects.

All Latvia Database: 50,000 records for Courland, Livland and Vitebsk gubernias: voter lists, tax records, newspaper articles, police and military records, Memorial Books, and extracts from the Extraordinary Commission lists.

Immigrant Ship Transcribers Guild: Volunteers creating free on-line databases of passenger lists. 4000 ships completed so far. Includes extensive links to other passenger ship resources. Excellent site.

Galveston Immigration Database: Index to 130,000 immigrants arriving through Galveston, TX, 1846-1948.

Index of 1890 New York Immigrants from Austria, Poland, and Galicia: Howard M. Relles lists 44,000 immigrants

Hamburg Departure Lists: Ongoing project to computerize the lists. Currently 1890-1894 lists are on-line, free.
