The Lewis and Clark chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution secured a site and designed a Revolutionary War Memorial to be enacted in Memorial.This memorial will contain 13 benches to represent each of the original colonies. For our state project, we will continue to raise funds to sponsor a bench at the planned Revolutionary War Memorial at War memorial Park In Beaverton.
To assist in raising funds, Amanda has designed a new pin. Each pin will sell for $10.00, which will go towards the goal of funding a second bench. Pins will be sold at C.A.R./DAR/SAR meetings, as well as other events. In addition, personal donations are greatly appreciated.
Donations will be recognized in the Oregon State Society newsletter with your name, chapter or organization as a "Friend of the President's Project."
