- Hudson/Goodwin Lawsuit-1930's
- Mike Blais [email protected]
11 Jul 1999
Looking for information on the Hudson/Goodwin
lawsuit which occurred in the 1930's or 40's,
where 6 descendants of the late James Hudson
fought in court for a claim of his 260 million
dollar estate. Looking for info, actually on all
the claimants, but in particular the full name of
Mrs J St Denis, of Mattawa. Hudson was from the
Westmeath/Renfrew area, and this is a great piece
of family history, assuming it is my line. I
suspect it is, given the names
involved-Hudson-Goodwin-Lanthier- and St Denis
all fall in my lineage to James Hudson and
Caroline Goodwin. But as The Hudsons and Goodwins
are so plentifull, I would like to explore this
to verify, that it is the right one. I am not
sure where to look, exactlly for that
information, I hope you can help shed the light
on this great historic family piece.
