William Harrison accompanied General Burgoyne to Canada, choosing to settle in Prince Edward County. He was granted land in Wellington, but preferred to buy land in Marysburgh. He ran a successful farming enterprise, and made the first wagon in Marysburgh which had wheels of solid wood with iron tires. William's son Timothy married Christie Ann Miller, while his four daughters married into the Powers, Hughes, Hudgin and Minaker families. Timothy resided on Indian Point, now known as Point Pleasant. Three of Timothy's sons lived on farms east of Prinyer's Cove. Marshall Harrison, the youngest, lived on the old homestead on the Bay shore.
