Transcribed here by Linda Herman Pioneers of Prince Edward County BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCHES THE LOVE FAMILY Arrived from Ireland in 1825. Samuel Love emigrated from Ireland in 1825 and eventually settled in South Marysburgh. Samuel married Mary McCormock. The pioneer had seven children: Thomas, William, James, Samuel, George, John and Alexander. Samuel's four brothers, James, John, Thomas and Alex, also settled in Canada. Thomas Love, Samuel's son settled in South Marysburgh. Two of his sons, William and John, eventually settled in California. His son, George Love, settled on the homestead
