Transcribed here by Linda Herman Pioneers of Prince Edward County BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCHES THE LAMBERT FAMILY Emigrated to Canada from New Jersey in 1802. Daniel Lambert emigrated to Canada in 1802 from New Jersey and is thought to be descendant from the Puritan Lamberts. Daniel travelled up the Hudson until he reached Oswego where he crossed the lake in batteaux to the high shore at Green Point. Daniel came with his father and three brothers. All of them eventually moved to Grassy Point where his father began his shoemaking trade. Daniel went to work for Abraham Cronk, and eventually purchased his own bush farm. Daniel married Mary Osborne and they had four children. After her death he married Barbara DeMille and they had nine children. Please contact The Schooner with additional information.
