Erected by the Presbyterian Congregation of Beckwith in connection with the Church of Scotland in memory of their revered Pastor the late Rev. John Smith a native of Cromarty Scotland who commenced his labours among them Oct 1833 and died 18 April 1851 aged 50 years.

In Memory of Patrick Wilson Struthers born Nov 12, 1830, died Mar 23, 1907.

In Memory of Ann Chambers beloved wife of P. Struthers, died 19 Nov. 1892 aged 77 yrs.

Kenneth Fullerton MacEwen, M.D., born 18 March 1911, Cobalt, Ont., died 18 November, 2000, Ottawa, Ont.

Son of Peter Finlay MacEwen of Beckwith and Elizabeth Weekes of Port Elmsley, both buried near Cobalt.

Married 14 Mary 1941 to Elaine Marne Clarke, born 1 October 1916, Belleville, Ont., died 3 December 1994, Toronto, Ont.
