| Apparently this land over the graves was ploughed and cultivated for years, until it was decided that the area should be avoided. In the spring the new grass over this plot is of a finer consistency than the grass which comes up in the fields around. There are no stones in this burying ground, but it is know that James and Ann Nisbet, brother and sister are buried here. There are no dates for their deaths. Also it is most likely that James' wife, Agnes Newton and their daughter Jeannie, who died at a young age, are buried here. |
