Location: West lot 13, con 2, North Sherbrooke Township.
Accompanied by a wife.
He was a member of the Paisely Townhead Emigration Society.
Still there at the time of the 1834
inspection.

1842 Census of North Sherbrooke
Township, Anthony McBryde was living on Con 2, Lot 13 and he had been there
since 1822. There were two people living in the household. The 1842 Census only
recorded the heads of household and it is unknown if it was a wife or his sister
Elizabeth living with him.
1851 Census of North Sherbrooke Township has Thomas Izatt living on Con 2, Lot 13W.
Thomas is 30 years old and single.
Betsey (Elizabeth) McBryde is listed as a 66 year old single female.
1861 Census of North Sherbrooke Township has Thomas Izatt living on Con 2, Lot 13W.
Thomas is 39 years old farmer, single
and living in a log house. Elizabeth
McBride is listed as a 74 year old single female.
1871 Census of North Sherbrooke Township has Thomas Izatt living on Con 2, Lot 13W.
Thomas is 48 years old farmer,
married to Barbara 44 years old and their son James 1 year old. Betsy McBride is
listed as an 85 year old single female and living with the Izatt family.
1881 Census of North Sherbrooke Township has Thomas Izatt living on Con 2, Lot 13W.
Thomas is 59 years old farmer,
married to Barbara 52 years old and their sons James 12 and Allan 10 years old.
Betsy McBride is not listed as she died March 5, 1880 at an age of 94 years old
and was buried on the Izatt farm.
Note from Peter Ferguson’s Almanac: March 4, 1880, Betty McBride died.
Elizabeth McBryde’s Death
Certificate indicates she died March 5, 1880 at age of 94 and was a spinster
from Ayrshire Scotland. Her death was reported by Thomas Izatt.
1891 Census of North Sherbrooke Township has Thomas Izatt living on Con 2, Lot 13W.
Thomas is 69 years old farmer, married to Barbara 61 years old and their sons James 21 and Allan 19 years old.

Folio 68, 69 No. 51 Copy Book 167 (1860-1889) Elizabeth McBryde of North Sherbrooke spinster sold to Thomas Izatt of North Sherbrooke for $300.00, 50 acres, S½ of W½ of Lot 13, Con 2 “Reserving the burial ground situated on Said Fifty acres being a square parcel of land containing by a measurement one hundred and forty four square feet, 5 April 1869.
Conclusions:
Anthony McBryde died sometime between
June 1844 and the 1851 Census taken July 20, 1852. His sister Elizabeth McBryde
died March 1880 and both are buried in the above mentioned “burial ground”
located on Con 2, Lot 13W of North Sherbrooke. Twp.
Location of “burial ground” was provided by descendants of Thomas Izatt.
