Does not show as a name in the Historical Atlas for Lanark County but situated at the same place was two Churches and a school.
Elliot:
Shows in the Historical Atlas for Lanark County as Elliot PO. It also indicates that there was a Church and a school there in the 1880s.
Fallbrook:
Located on Bolton Creek where it meets Fall River. Fallbrook PO shows in the Historical Atlas for Lanark County.
Glentay & Glentay PO:
Both Glentay and Glentay PO show in the Historical Atlas for Lanark County.
Harper:
The village was named after Joseph Harper who settled in the area. Harper PO shows in the Historical Atlas for Lanark County.
Playfairville:
Is situated on the Mississippi River. Was known as Playfair Mills, named after Lieutenant Andrew W. Playfair who settled there. Playfair preached in the Methodist Church in the village. Playfair PO shows in the Historical Atlas for Lanark County.
