This photo was taken at Millnix Studio in Marlborough NY. It is included in an album with a lot of pictures of the family of JOHN SHAW  and ANN ROGERSON. They came to Canada about 1831 with 7 children and had 7 more - all in the Argenteuil area of Quebec. Some of the offspring moved to NY State in the area of Watertown. Some went to Lanark Co near Smiths Falls. This album was owned by one of the 14 - SARAH RACHEL SHAW who lived in Smiths Falls. She was married to GEORGE CORBETT but there are seemingly no Corbetts in this album.
