Another article in the same paper:  Off the Hook—Our friend John Weston, surprised and delighted most of his friends last week by bidding goodbye to a life of blessed bachelorhood and becoming a benedict, full details of which are found in another part of this newspaper.  Next evening, a surprise party with musical attachments waited upon the happy couple with a view of giving a prolonged serenade but through John’s liberality they were sent on their way rejoicing.   John has set the stale old bachelors in this place a good example which if they are wise they will follow.
