Chisholm at the Catholic Church, Michael Lappin to Bridget McDonagh, both of Perth.  The bridegroom and bride being well known and much respected by a large number of friends and acquaintances, are generally favored.  A very large number of persons in town, of all creeds, assembled in the church at the hour appointed, to witness the interesting ceremony, which was performed with more than the ordinary solemnity.  The bride, being a member of the choir, as a mark of respect and recognition of service, appropriate pieces of music were played before and after the ceremony.  Needless to say, the young couple have the best wishes of a large circle of friends and acquaintances for their happiness and prosperity.
