Wedding: Scott - Gilmour

A pleasing even took place last Wednesday, at 5 o'clock, at the home of Mr. Gavin Gilmour, Bennie's Corners, the occasion being the marriage of his sister, Miss Kate Gilmour, to Mr. B. Scott, of Renfrew.  Rev. J.F. Millar officiated, Miss Jean Gilmour, sister of the bride, acted as bridemaid, while Mr. Brough, of Shawville, performed the duties of groomsman.  The bride was handsomely groomed in pearl grey trimmed with chiffon.  After the ceremony was performed the guests to the number of thirty sat down to a sumptuous repast.  A reception was tendered them in the evening by a host of friends who tripped the light fantastic to the small hours of the morning. The newly-married couple left on Thursday morning for a wedding trip and on their return will reside in Renfrew.  We wish them much happiness in life's journey - Blakeney Cor. of Almonte Gazette.
