R.C.A.F. Service Police) - Peacefully at his home with his family at his side on
Sunday, May 27, 2001. Ken Duncan of Almonte, age 84 years. Dearly loved husband
of Helen Cochran. Dear dad of Anne Stevens (Selwyn) of Wellington, New Zealand,
Robert (Cheryl) of Richmond, Jim (Judy) of Almonte and Susan Gagnon (Denis) of
Waba. Brother of Mrs. Rae Lyttle of Ottawa and Gordon (Mary) of Cobden.
Predeceased by 2 sisters: Mrs. Mabel 'Faber and Mrs. Muriel Redden and by 6
brothers: Harold, Allan, Morden, William, Robert and Hugh. Also survived by 5
grandchildren: Jesse, Evangelynne, Chance, Jennifer and Micheal. Friends called
at the C.R. GAMBLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 127 Church Street, Almonte for
visiting on Wednesday until Service complete in the Chapel at 7:30pm. Rev. Jim
Ferrier and David Donaldson officiated. Cremation to follow. Donations in memory

Haven on Thursday, May 31, 2001. Muriel McCready of Almonte, age 81 years.
Beloved wife of the late George A. Hahn. Dearly loved mom of William, Kurt
(Linda) of Almonte, Russyl (Donna) of Stewartville and Laura of Kitchener. Also
survived by 6 grandchildren. Respecting Muriel's wishes, there will be no

Saturday, June 16th, 2001. Ross Arthur McPhail (of Almonte), at age 48. Beloved
husband of Michele Chenier, Almonte. Dear son of the late Kenneth McPhail and
the late Georgette Ottney. Dear brother of Ken (Geri) McPhail, Pembroke, Harold
(Shelley) McPhail, Frank (Jill) McPhail and Shelley (Mrs. Clark Munro) all of
Almonte. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his
grandparents Jean and Bob McPhail and Ed and Mildred Ottnev. Friends called at

Michael Wright), Scotsdale, AZ, U.S.A. and Sharron (Mrs. Gary Smith), High
River, Alberta. Loving grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 13 great
grandchildren. Predeceased by Phil, Cecil, Clarence and James Wright. Ethel was
the eldest family descendant of Philemon Wright, Founder of Hull, Quebec. The

Cremation followed. Interment of Ethel's ashes in Mohr's Cemetery, Quyon, Quebec
on Thursday. Donations made in memory of Ethel to the charity of your choice
