BRYDGES - Peacefully in her sleep in hospital, Ottawa, Ontario on Thursday, December 6th, 2001 in her 70th year. MARY SADIE LANCASTER Beloved wife of Keith Brydges, Almonte. Loving mother of Arthur, Paul, Nancy (Mrs. Claude Proc), Susan (Mrs. Ron Ford) and James. Survived by her sister Dorene Brydges (Kenneth) of  Carp. Predeceased by her brothers Raymond (Hazel), Gordon, Mac, Douglas, George, Earl and Stanley (Helen) and her sisters Irene Toop (Fred) and Gladys Brydges (late Orville). Much loved grandmother of Chelsea Brydges, David, Jo and Sarah Proc and Janet Ford. Predeceased by grandson Thomas Proc. Dearly remembered by sister and brother in‑laws, nieces and nephews and extended family. Friends called at the Kerry Funeral Home 154 Elgin Street Almonte, Ontario for visiting on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 till 10:30 a.m. Thence to St. Paul's Anglican Church for Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. The Ven. CAMERON - In hospital Carleton Place, Ontario on Monday, November 19, 2001 at age 88. MABEL YUILL Beloved wife of the late William Cameron. Dear mother of Olive Cameron, Carleton Place, Mayme Somerville, R.R., #1,Lanark; Boyd Cameron, Raymond (Anneth) Cameron both of Clayton; Wilma (Rayburn) Sweeney, Almonte; Mildred (Abb Woods) Carleton Place, and dear sister of Myrtle (King) (Mrs. Allan McFarlane), Lanark. Treasured grand­mother to Joanne (Danny) Emon, Mountain and loving grandmother to 13 grand­children and 16 great-grand children. Predeceased by 1 daughter Betty Lafrance and by 1 son John and by 5 brothers Bill, John, Allie, Neilson, Earl and by 2 sisters Ruby and Nettie. STANLEY - Suddenly but peacefully in hospital, Almonte, Ontario on Tuesday, November 13th, 2001. MADELINE AGNES MURRAY (of Almonte) AT AGE 71. Beloved wife of Keith Stanley, Almonte. Loving mother of Glen (Janet) Stanley; Greg (Judy) Stanley and Lisa (Mrs. Dan Sheehan) all of Almonte. Loving grandmother to Kristi and Ami Stanley. Dear sister of Stella (the late Keith Blakeley), Almonte, Mary (Mrs. Gordon Robertson), Arnprior Anita Murray, Ottawa and dear sister-in­law Doris Murray, Arnprior. Predeceased by one sister Alice (the late Fred Bruce) and by one brother Everett Murray. BARKER, ROBERT (BOB) JAMES,

With courage and unimaginable strength and consideration for the family he loved and surrounded by that same family at his home on Tuesday, January 15, 2002. Bob Barker of Almonte, age 57 years. Dearly loved husband of Agnes Shean and much loved dad of Corey and Tammy. Fondly remembered by his granddaughter, Breanna. Dear brother of Wanda Bellfountaine, (Ken) of Calgary, Alberta,  Ian (Louise) of Almonte and Faye of Perth. Predeceased by his brother; Laurie. Much loved uncle, friend & co-worker. McMUNN, Gillian Emily (nee Barker) - Suddenly on Saturday, October 20, 2001, at the age of 39. Beloved wife of Jeffrey. Cherished mother of Darren, Amy and Jennilee. Loving daughter of Mary and the late John Barker. Dearest sister of Morag (Henry), Ann (Reid) and.Fiona (Shawn). Dear daughter-in-law of Dorothy McMunn and Ron McMunn. Sister-in-law of Jamie and Louisa McMunn. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue at Richmond Road, Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Redeemer Church, 44 Rothesay Drive, Kanata (south of the Hazeldean Mall) Wednesday, October 24, 2001, at 11 a.m. followed by cremation. Interment of urn St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fallowfield at a later date. Special thanks to the caring staffs of the Almonte General and the Civic Hospitals. GILES – peacefully in hospital, Ottawa, Ontario on Saturday January 19, 2002. William Mervin Giles October 17, 1935 - January 19, 2002 AT AGE 66. Beloved husband of Paula Mae Duncan. Dear father of Greg (Angela), Cedar Hill; Tracey (Mrs. Steve Rothwell, Cedar Hill; Tanya Giles-McMartin, Carp; Brent (Shelly), Almonte and Chris at home. Dear brother of Millie (Mrs. Russell Lowe), Almonte and Willard Giles, Arnprior. Dear brother-in-law to Alma Giles and Howard Boal. Also survived by 9 grandchildren Jennifer, Stacey, Corbin, Colin, Mellissa, Gavin, Rebecca, Zack, Megan and several nieces and   nephews. Predeceased by 2 brothers Harvey, Jim and 3 sisters Myrtle, Eleanor and Marion. COCHRAN, John Harvey (November 7,1918 - February 4, 2002) (Of Almonte, Ontario) -  Peacefully in hospital, Almonte, Ontario on Monday, February 4th, 2002 at age 83. John Harvey Cochran, loving husband and best friend of Doris Isabel Paul, Almonte. Beloved father of Nancy (Mrs. Bob Korogyi), Lilburn, Georgia, U.S.A. and Wendy Cochrane (wife of Jim Curran), Toronto. Loving grandfather to Kristina Korogyi. Predeceased by his brother Bob (Jean). Brother­in-law of Clare (Marylou), Ella Paul (the late Bill) and Dorothy Nickerson (Bob). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. At Harvey's request, there was no visitation at the funeral home. A private family funeral service was held at the Kerry Funeral Home, 154 Elgin Street, Almonte in the CHAPEL on Thursday, February 7th, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Heather Kinkaid officiated. Interment at Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte in the Spring. Donations made in memory of Harvey to the Almonte General Hospital or charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by Harvey's family.

In hospital at Almonte with his daughter at his side on Wednesday, February 13, 2002. NORMAN HUTT of Almonte, age 74 years. Beloved husband of Margaret Shean and dearly loved dad of Kathy McDougall of Almonte. Predeceased by 3 sisters; Agnes Lerioux, Hilda Spencer and Irene Sadler and by his brother, Ambrose. MOORHEAD,RETTA - Suddenly at home, on Sunday, February 17, 2002 in her 75th year. Retta Margaret Stanley. Beloved wife of Clayton Moorhead - Loving mother of Rodney Moorhead. Predeceased by 4 sisters Lottie Giles, Betty Smithson, Mamie Steele, Doris Clement and by 4 brothers Cecil, Raymond, Allan and Ross Stanley. Survived by several nieces and nephews. The Funeral - Friends called at the Kerry Funeral Home, 154 Elgin Street, Almonte for visiting on Wednesday from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service and Commital in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Pastor Brian Jarvis officiated. Spring interment Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte. In memory of Retta, memorial donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

CHESNEY Ellen Elizabeth her 68th yea Sciences Cent February 23, wife for 26 years of Elliott Jephson and sister of Henry Stanley and his wife Isabel of Carleton Place, Herbert Stanley and his wife Emily of Louhrea, Ireland, Hannah Gilmour and her husband Mel of Ottawa, Lillian Mohr and her husband Sid of Almonte and 9 nephews and nieces. Beloved daughter of the late Herb and Lillian Stanley of Carleton Place. Also loved by many great-nephews and great-nieces. For many years she worked as a Registere6 Nurse and Pharmaceutical Representative. All her life she was a serious collector of Ontario Antiques and Collectibles. She will be sorely missed by her many friends. Friends will be received by the family from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the A. Miller George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Wednesday, February 27th at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend E. J. Humphrey officiating. Interment in the spring in St. George's Anglican Church Cemetery, Clayton, Ontario. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 123 St. George Street London N6A 3A1.
