Suddenly at home Thursday, April 13, 2000. Best friend and husband of 40 years of Georgette Brisebois. Loving father of Larry (Marie-Claude) Blackburn Hamlet and the late Ray Jr. Proud grampa to Francis and Jacob. Beloved son of the late John and Mary MacDonald, Clayton and formerly of Eganville. Dear brother of William (Janice), Glenn (Doreen), both of Toronto, Donald (Audrey), Irene Murphy (Leonard), Jean Leclaire (Dennis), all of Clayton, Jack (Marian), Brian (Linda), Joy Drynan (Keith), Shirley Dolan, all of Almonte, Ronald (Lorraine), Carleton Place and Mary Murphy (John) of Ferguson Falls. Predeceased by brothers Archie, Doug and Gerald. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Soulignny Mackenzie & Robert Funeral Home, 2871 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans (west of Place d'Orleans Dr.) on Sunday, April 16, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Eucharistic Celebration will be held at Divine Infant Church, 6658 Bilberry Drive, Orl6ans, on Monday April 17, 2000, at 9:30 a.m. followed by cremation. GILES, Arnold Former RCAF WW 11 Veteran - Peacefully on Saturday, May 6, 2000, at his residence in his 77th year. Beloved friend of Inez White. Dear brother of Ruth Haskins of Carleton Place and Herman Giles of Toronto. Also survived by nieces and nephews. At Mr. Giles's request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation. GARDINER, Elsie Mae, (Retired School Teacher) - Peacefully in hospital at Carleton Place, Ontario on Friday, August 25, 2000. Elsie Mae Miller, in her 96th year. Daughter of the late William and Laura Miller. Dearly loved wife of the late Samuel J. Gardiner. Loving mother of Allan (Shirley M.), Dorothy Ferrill (Raymond) and Shirley A. Surette (the late Frank). Dear grandmother of Ted (Leigh), Gwen Perkins (Bob), Rodger (Holley), Lorelei Brunton (Dave), Rob (Tamnny), Donna James (Larry), Deb Ferrill, Chris Ferrill (Sherrill), Sharon Campbell (Mike) and Adele Kennedy (Rob). GRACE – Peacefully in hospital, Almonte, Ontario on Thursday, Oct 12, 2000. Mary Elizabeth Ryan (of Almonte), at age 99. Beloved wife of the late Harry J. Grace. Dear Mother of Harry Grace, Almonte. Also survived by one brother Sylvester Ryan. Predeceased by two sons, Domonic, Desmond and by one daughter Rita and by two brothers and four sisters.
