SAM WATT DIED
MEAFORD EXPRESS (1924) -- The death occurred in Toronto on Tuesday, Jan 28th, of Samuel Watt, a former resident of this town, and brother of Mr. Frank Watt of this place. He was in his 65th year, and was the son of the late Charles Watt, one time Mayor of Meaford. He had lived for a number of years in Toronto, and was widely known at Point au Baril where he had spent his summers. Besides his wife Mr. Watt is survived by one daughter, Miss Nina and by three sisters - Mrs. R.C. Moore, Mrs. D. Bole and Mrs. W. Honeyford, all of Toronto - and four brothers - George of Pittsburg, Reginald of Canton, Ohio, Will of Cleveland and Frank of Meaford. The funeral will take place in Meaford to the Presbyterian Church, on Thursday under the auspices of the Independent Order of Oddfellows.
