Radley, Mrs. James
(Edith R. Robertson)
April 30, 1891
On Sunday morning an event took place near the village which cast a shadow of gloom over the people in general. When news reached this quarter that one who had been attending to household duties on Friday had been called away so soon, it could scarcely be believed. However, we are sorry to say it was the case, for Mrs James Radley, departed this life, and was but a few days before in apparent health and strength. She was only married about three months and therefore leaves a young husband and many friends to mourn her loss. The internment took place in Maxwell Methodist burying ground on Tuesday. Rev. I. A. Brown conducting the service.
