MEAFORD EXPRESS (1922) - The death of Jacob Neely, formerly of Meaford, took place in Toronto, on Saturday at the advanced age of 84 years. Deceased formerly lived at Rocklyn and came to Meaford some twelve years ago and conducted the Nelson Street Livery for a number of years. Some four or five years ago the family moved to Toronto. Besides his widow, formerly Miss Ellen Lougheed, of Euphrasia, deceased leaves a family of theree daughters and four sons, Mrs. R.A. Holley, Luck Lake, Sask.; Mrs. E. Holley, Toronto; and Mrs. Bert Curry, also of the West; and Messrs. Edgar, Alfred, Fred and Lawrence, all of Toronto.
The funeral took place from his late residence, 927 Bathurst street, on Tuesday morning at 10:30 o'clock to Prospect Cemetery, Toronto.
