E.K. Matheson, who was principal of the school until it closed in 1914. He was then appointed superintendent of Indian missions in the north-western part of the diocese.
Mrs. Matheson had been interested early in the Woman's Auxiliary to the Missionary Society and she served on the Diocesan Board when Bishop and Mrs. Newham organized the auxiliary in Saskatchewan. From 1911 to 1922 she was Diocesan President, and after 1916, Dominion Vice-President for the Province of Rupert's Land. When Canon Matheson's failing health made it necessary, she resigned these offices. The diocese of Saskatchewan appointed her Honorary President and created the Edward and Eleanor Matheson .........remainder of article missing.
