MRS. ALEX LONDRY
MEAFORD EXPRESS (1928) -- The late Elizabeth Davies was born in Quebec, April 16th, 1851, her father, David Davies having come to Canada from Wales. She was the last surviving member of a family of four brothers and seven sisters. On February 6th, 1871, the deceased was married in Owen Sound to Alexander Londry by the Methodist minister Rev. James Scott, and since their marriage has been a resident of Meaford. Of six children, one son dying at two years of age, there are five surviving members of the family; Charles in California; Leslie, in Tacoma, Washington; Melville of Meaford; Audrey in South Porcupine, Ont. And Mrs. A.C. Morley, 128 Chisholm Avenue, Toronto.
