THOMAS C. DEAN
MEAFORD EXPRESS (Dec. 1920) - The sudden death of Mr. Thomas C. Dean occurred at his home on Collingwood Street about 12:30 o'clock on Sunday night after a couple of days illness. The late Mr. Dean had been in possession of the Monitor newspaper for some 20 years, during which time he contributed poems and prose to many outside papers including the Toronto Globe. Eccentric in his make-up he was expert in many things. As a marksman he had few equals in this section. He was an expert bowler, curler and took a deep interest in horticulture. He was a good debater and advanced many ideas from time to time.
