MRS. JAMES CLARKE
DIED ST. VINCENT
Had Been Ill For Many Months Past
Was In Her 60th Year
MEAFORD, Feb. 12 - Mrs. James Clarke passed away on Thursday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arnold Rows, 15 and 16 sideroad in St. Vincent, after an illness of about six months. Last July the late Mrs. Clarke suffered a stroke, and has been in failing health since that time. Her husband passed away several years ago.
   Mrs. Clarke was formerly Miss Rachael Rebecca Lougheed, and lived in the west for 30 years. Since coming to Meaford she has resided with her daughter. Deceased was in her 60th year, and has a family of three daughters and one son who are left to survive. They are; Mrs. Arnold Rows, St. Vincent; Mrs. J.J. Wilson of Collingwood; Mrs. B. Gibbons of Owen Sound , and Russell Clark of Kelowna, B.C. There are also two sisters and one brother, Mrs. John Burns of Epping, Mrs. William Lessard of Sarnia, Warren Lougheed lives in Eburne, B.C.
   For several years the late Mrs. Clarke resided in Markdale, and during her girlhood days lived in St. Vincent. The funeral was held from the residence of her son-in-law, Mrs. Arnold Rows, 12 and 16 sideroad, St. Vincent, on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 13. Interment was made in Lakeview Chapel.
