April 18,p.?: Samuel Platt - At the home of his son, George Platt, Lot 21, Con. 7, East Luther, on Friday April 12th, 1940, Samuel Platt, aged 83 years. Service was held in Tarbert United Church on Monday afternoon, April 15th. Interment took place in Grand Valley Union Cemetery."
