FELSTEAD
March 17,p.8: Rev.
J.A. Felstead - Rev. James Alfred Felstead, a well-known minister of the United
Church, died at Orillia on Sunday, March 13th, in his 78th year. He had been living
at Warminster for a number of years and had previously given his church excellent
service in various Ontario pastorates. He was a staunch member of the Orange and
Black Order. The remains were resting at Mundell's Funeral Home in Orillia, where
service was held at 8 o'clock on Tuesday evening. The funeral was held to Orangeville
on Wednesday morning. Service was held in St. Andrew's United church here at 2
o'clock yesterday afternoon and was followed by interment in the Forest Lawn cemetery.
Mr. Felstead was a brother-in-law of Messrs. James and A.B. Holmes and Miss Harriet
Holmes of Orangeville.
