There were over 300 200 acre lots surveyed in Erin Township. At least parts of it were surveyed in
1817 and patents granted in 1823. Actual directions of lots are north
east / south west. To keep it simple the following records
state N or E or S. or W only, unless it is a quarter lot. Average
price of 200 acres in 1838 appears to have been 400.00 pounds.

Township. It is basically a list of all farms and their owners
