This photo is of Sisters Dolly and Eliza Jane Fairchild, daughters of John and Mary Jane (Gee) Fairchild. John Fairchild was a son of Samuel and Eliza (Yerks) Fairchild, and a grandson of Isaac and Lucy (Kilbourne) Fairchild.

This photo is of Elizabeth (l) and Hannah Fairchild (r), daughters of Samuel and Eliza (Yerks) Fairchild, and granddaughters of Isaac and Lucy (Kilbourne) Fairchild.

This photo is of Elberta (Alberta) D. Fairchild, daughter of Francis Gore and Priscilla Jane (Harris) Fairchild, and granddaughter of Isaac and Lucy (Kilbourne) Fairchild. She married D. S. Johnson.

This photo is of Francis Gore Fairchild, son of Isaac and Lucy (Kilbourne) Fairchild. Francis Gore was a brother to Samuel Fairchild. Francis Gore Fairchild was born on April 11, 1820 in Oakland township. On June 16, 1842, he married Priscilla Jane Harris, born 1820. They were the parents of seven children: James Harris, Francis Alanson, Ruby Ann, Elberta D., Melissa, Helen Marr, and Isaac Ernest. He died in 1897. Priscilla Jane died on April 27, 1862.

This photo is of Helen Marr Fairchild, daughter of Francis Gore and Priscilla Jane (Harris) Fairchild. She was born in 1844. Helen married Henry Shaver Westbrook on December 26, 1866,and had four children: Ethel, Florence, Frank Fairchild, and Donald McDermid. Helen is 17 on the 1861 census for Oakland.

This photo is of Maranda (l) and Mary Jane Fairchild (r). They were daughters of Samuel and Eliza Yerks Fairchild, and granddaughters of Isaac and Lucy (Kilbourne) Fairchild.

This photo is of Isaac Ernest Fairchild, son of Francis Gore and Priscilla Jane (Harris) Fairchild. Isaac Ernest was born in Oakland in 1852. He appears on the 1861 census as a nine year old. Isaac married Agnes Chalmers in Emerson, Manitoba, on March 15, 1882. He died there in 1934. He and his wife had at least three children, two of whom are Howard E. and Nellie May.

This photo is of James Harris Fairchild with his son, Walter. James Harris Fairchild was the son of Francis Gore and Priscilla Jane (Harris) Fairchild. Francis Gore Fairchild was the son of Isaac and Lucy (Kilbourne) Fairchild. James Harris appears on the 1861 census for Oakland, as a 14 year old.

This photo is of Melissa Fairchild, daughter of Francis Gore and Priscilla Jane (Harris) Fairchild, around age 19.

This photo is of Melissa Fairchild and her husband, Peter McEwen. Melissa was born in 1842 to Francis Gore and Priscilla Jane (Harris) Fairchild. On December 5, 1866, she married Peter McEwen. Peter was born in 1840 in Mt.

Pleasant to Archibald McEwen and his wife, Agnes. They had six children: Alice, Donald McDermid, Archibald Francis (Frank), Roy, Agnes, and Jean. Melissa appears on the 1861 Oakland census as a nineteen year old.

This photo is of Ruby Ann Fairchild. She appears on the 1861 Oakland census as a six year old, with her brothers, sisters, and parents, Francis Gore and Priscilla Jane (Harris) Fairchild. Ruby Ann was a grandchild of Isaac and Lucy (Kilbourne) Fairchild. She married William C. Bell, and had one child, Harry.

This photo is of Sarah Malcolm Smith, daughter of Elvira Fairchild and James Malcolm. Her mother, Elvira Fairchild was the fourth child of Isaac and Lucy (Kilbourne) Fairchild. Elvira was born on April 12, 1803 and died January 21, 1841.

James Malcolm was born January 2, 1800, and died November 6, 1858. Sarah Malcolm married Hamilton Smith.
