CHARLIE SARCOXIE, Pvt, son of Jno. and Francis Sarcoxie, Bartlesville, Okla. born in Bartlesville, Aug. 1, 1896; enlisted Aug. 27, 1918. trained at Camp Pike; did not go overseas; discharged at Camp Pike, Dec. 16, 1918.

WM. P. SAVAGE, Pvt., son of Mrs. Lucy Savage, Tulsa, Okla., was born in Cornin, Ky., March 5, 1894; enlisted May 25, 1918; trained at Ft, Sill and Camp Houston; overseas Sept 1, 1918; Vladivostock; Siberia; discharged at Camp Pike, Oct, 18, 1919.

CHESTER N. SCHROCK, Pvt., son of Mrs. Clara Lynds, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Kingman, Kan., Oct. 10, 1891 enlisted April 26, 1918; trained at Camp Travis; overseas June 15, 1917; to France, discharged June 20. 1919.

FRANK R. PYLES, Pvt., son of Christina Florence Pyles, Dewey, Okla., was born in Dewey, Okla., Feb. 9. 1896; enlisted Sept. 19, 1917; trained at Camp Travis; overseas, June 20, 1918; fought at St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne; discharged at Camp Pike, June 22, 1919.

FRED R. PYLES. First Class Pvt., son of Christina Florence Pyles, Dewey, Okla., was born in Dewey, Okla., Feb. 9, 1896. enlisted June 1, 1918; trained at Camp Logan; did not go overseas; discharged at Camp Logan, March 15. 1919.

FLOYD WILLIS McCONELL. First Class Pvt., son of Geo. and Fanny McConell, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Oklahoma. March 22. 1896; enlisted, July 15, 1918; trained at Norfolk, Va., Hampton Roads, Va.; still in the service.

ALFRED EARL LEACH. Pvt.. son of Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Leach. Bartlesville. Okla., was born in Kansas, May 15, 1893. enlisted in May, 1917; overseas in May, 1918; three days in Argonne Forest: wounded, shrapnel in leg; discharged at Ft Raleigh, in March. 1919.

W. FAIR KING. Ph. M. 2nd U. S. N. R. F., son of W. R. King, Ochelata, Okla., was born in Mississippi. July 3, 1896; enlisted June 2, 1918; trained at Mare Island. Cal.. did not go overseas; discharged at San Diego, Cal.. Sept. 19. 1919.

HENRY KIRKPATRICK HUDSON. Pvt.. son of R H. and Marguerite K. Hudson. Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Perry, Okla., Dec. 27, 1898; enlisted Nov. 3. 1918, S. A. T. C, Neb.; discharged, Dec. 13, 1818.

THOMAS BEVIN HUDSON, Corp., son of R E and Marguerite Hudson, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Perry, Okla., Sept. 14, 1896; enlisted April 13, 1917; trained at Camp Bowie; overseas in July, 1918. to France; discharged March 21, 1918.

HERMAN L. HOWARD, Pvt., son of C. L. and Sallie Howard, Pryor Creek, Okla., was born in Sweet Springs, Mo., Dec. 20, 1892; enlisted Aug. 7, 1918; trained at Camp Fremont; did not go overseas; discharged at Camp Funston, June 13, 1919.

L. E. GIVENS, Sgt. First Class, son of Mrs. Lottie Given, Dewey, Okla., was born in Illinois, April 10, 1891; enlisted May 23, 1918. trained at Ft. Raleigh; overseas Sept. 1, 1918, to France; promoted to Sergeant; discharged at Camp Pike, July 7, 1919.

WILLIS GUY FLING, Sgt., son of Owen and Elizabeth; Fling, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Sedan, Kan., Oct. 7, 1891; enlisted May 29, 1917. trained at Ft. Riley; transferred to Denver; promoted to Sergeant; discharged November, 1919.

FRANK A. ECKELBERGER, Pvt.. son of L K. and Abagail Eckelberger, Ramona, Okla., was born in Butler, Pa, Oct. 15, 1882; enlisted May 23, 1918. trained at Ft. Logan; overseas Aug. 3, 1918. to France; gassed; discharged at Denver, Dee. 9, 1919.

PAUL W. DICKSON, Wagoner, son of Dr. T. B. and Cynthia Dickson, Ramona, Okla., was born in Chelsea, Okla., Feb. 6, 1896; enlisted Sept. 20, 1917; trained at Camp Travis; overseas June 19, 1918, England, France and Germany, fought at St. Mihiel etc.; gassed; discharged at Camp Pike, June 25, 1919.

JAMES BERT BOOTH, son of Noah J. and Maggie M. Booth, Bartlesville. Okla., was born in Fulton. Mo., June 12. 1899; enlisted in September, 1918; trained at Fulton, Mo., Air Service; discharged Dec. 20. 1918.

HARRY OTIS COLE, Corp., son of O. B. and Dora Cole, Bartlesville. Okla.. was born in Bartlesville, Okla.. Aug. 27, 1897. enlisted Aug. 6, 1918; trained with O. T. S. Ft. Monroe; armistice signed; discharged Jan. 3, 1919.

FRANK P. KUBAS. adopted son of Dr. and Mrs. North. Bartlesville. Okla., was born in Austria-Poland. Feb. 20. 1896; enlisted in September, 1917; trained at Camp Mills, overseas October, 1918, to France and Germany; fought at Chateau Thierry, St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne; discharged at Camp Funston, May, 1919.

BALDWIN F. DEEVERS Destiny marked him for one of those heroes who would yield his life that the world might be saved. He heard his country's call and marched away to the battle line to uphold the traditions of every American born, and made the supreme sacrifice upon the altar of Liberty. Baldwin F. Deevers was born in Buffalo Gap, Texas, August 10, 1891; educated in the schools of Houston. Entered the service in January, 1918; overseas May, 1918, and landed in France, 13th Field Artillery; wounded in the face from flying shrapnel and died October 6, 1918. He first joined the Regular Army in 1909-10 for 3 years, entering the service at San Francisco and was sent to the Philippines with Battery F, 5th F. A. He returned to San Francisco for discharge and immediately re-enlisted, and was sent to the Mexican Border; wounded by Mexican bullet; then to parole duty, two years, and sent to France. He is survived by four sisters and one brother. His parents died when he was an infant and he was raised by his sister, Mrs. Clara Dixon, of Bartlesville, Okla., who has been mother and all to him. His name will endure forever.

CLARENCE HOLLIS KAYLOR, Private, son of Oscar and Mamie Kaylor, Dewey, Okla., was born in Iowa, August 10, 1888; educated at Napierville Academy, Illinois. Entered the service Sept 19, 1917, and underwent a course in military training at Camp Travis and Ft. Sam Houston, 165th Depot Brigade, 9th Battalion; transferred to Motor Transport Corps 304, Ft. Sam Houston; promoted Bn. Sgt. Maj., Sgt. Q. M.; Sgt. Q. M. Sen Grade; recommended for First Lieutenant, Nov. 2, 1918; did not go overseas Discharged at Ft. Sam Houston, June 20, 1919.

CECIL WENDELL TATRO, Private, son of C. F. Tatro, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Lincoln, Neb., May 17, 1898; educated in the schools of Bartlesville. Entered the service in May, 1917, and underwent an intensive course of military training at Camp Mills, N. Y., 167th Ambulance Company, 117th Sanitary Train, 42nd Division (Rainbow Division); embarked overseas in September, 1917; fought at Chateau Thierry, St. Mihiel and Argonne Forrest; with the Army of Occupation on the Rhine in Germany; gassed, which developed into tuberculosis; in the hospital 7 months. Discharged at Camp Bayard, N. M., Dec. 19, 1919.

EDGAR LEROY JACK, Private, son of C. C. and Alice L. Jack, Dewey, Okla., was born in Pennsylvania, July 7, 1897; educated in the schools of Dewey. Entered the service Nov. 7, 1918, and received his military training at Camp Cody, 22nd Company, 97th Division, Casual Camp. While here he contracted influenza which developed into pneumonia which resulted in his death Nov. 21, 1918. He is survived by his wife, parents, two sisters and four brothers. Prior to his enlistment he was a tool dresser in the oil fields. He is buried in the cemetery at Dewey, Okla.

RAY E. HULING, Battery Clerk, son of Mrs. A. H. Huling, Bartlesville, was born in Oklahoma, January 17, 1897; educated in the Oklahoma schools. Entered the service in September, 1917, and received his military training at Camp Travis, Battery D, 343rd Regiment; embarked overseas in June, 1918, and landed in France, and then to Germany; promoted to Battery Clerk. Returned uninjured and received his discharge at Camp Pike, June 19, 1919.

GEORGE EDWARD EASLEY, Wagoner, son of William and Marguerite Easley, Bartlesville, Okla,, was born in Pawhuska, Okla., Feb. 19, 1894; educated in the schools of his native state. Entered the service July 22, 1918, and received his military training at Camp Greenleaf. Evacuation Ambulance Company 18; embarked overseas Sept. 24, 1918, and landed in France; transferred to Camp Hospital account of sickness. Discharged at Camp Dix, May 15, 1919.

M. R. DITTMAN, Private, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Dittman, Bartlesville, Okla. was born in Pennsylvania, Dec. 2, 1890; educated in the schools of Pennsylvania, Kansas and Oklahoma. Entered the service August 3, 1918, and received his training at Paris Island; embarked overseas in October, 1918, landed in France and then to Germany. Discharged at Quantico. Va., August 13, 1919.

JOHN L. BIXLER, Private, son of W. W. Bixler, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Crawford County, Kansas, April 26, 1887; educated in the schools of Oklahoma, Entered the service August 4, 1917, and received his military training at Camp Doniphan, Company G, Ammunition Train, 110th Infantry, 35th Division; embarked overseas in March, 1918, and landed in England and then in France; participated in the engagements at Chateau Thierry, Argonne Forrest and Verdun; gassed. Discharged at Camp Funston, Kan., May 6, 1919.

DWIGHT L. HOSKINS, Private, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Hoskins, was born in Ohio; educated in the Ohio and Oklahoma schools. Entered the service April 26, 1918, and underwent a course in military training at Camp Travis, 358th Infantry. 90th Division, Medical Department; embarked overseas June 15, 1918, and landed in France; transferred from Medical Corps to Quartermaster’s Department; fought at St. Mihiel; gassed; sick in a dugout three days, sent back to Base Hospital with influenza; recovered and served at Base Hospital 116 until ordered home. Discharged at Ft. Raleigh in March. 1919.

FRED R. GOODTRAVELER, Private, son of Mrs. Rosa Dallas, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Oklahoma, March 21, 1892; educated in the schools of his native state. Entered the service February 22, 1918, and underwent an intensive course in military training at Camp Travis, Company M, 357th Infantry, 10th Division; embarked overseas June 19, 1918, and landed in France; fought at St. Mihiel; uninjured. Received his discharge at Houston, Texas, May 12, 19l9.

H. EVERETT HOLM. Private, son of H. J. Holm, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Texas, July 10, 1894; educated at Culver Military Academy. Entered the service May 7, 1917, and received his military training at Ft. Sheridan. Illinois, Cavalry Troop; embarked overseas May 11, 1917, and landed in England, then France, Belgium and Germany; attached to 833rd Aero Squadron, Headquarters, 7th Army Corps Air Service, being transferred from the Cavalry; fought at the Meuse-Argonne; returning uninjured he received his discharge at Camp Pike, July 17, 1919.

HENRY A. FARLEY, Corporal, son of Lucy A. Farley, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Kentucky, May 29, 1898; educated in the schools of Kentucky and Oklahoma. Entered the service April 21, 1917, and received his military training at Ft. Logan, Company I, 16th Infantry, Cas. Det Group; embarked overseas June 10, 1917; fought others; went over with Pershing and was in the first battle of the war; went over with the Regular Army; gassed. Discharged at Camp Pike, Sept. 29, 1919.

FRANK WILLIAM SWIFT, Second Lieutenant, son of John V. Swift, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Denver, Colo., Nov. 23, 1890; educated at East Denver high school and University of Colorado. Entered the service Feb. 26, 1918, and received his military training at Ft Wood, College Park, Md., Ft Sill, Okla.; embarked overseas in August, 1918, and landed in France, 5th Corps Observation Group, Second Pursuit Group; transferred to Group Radio Officer of Second Pursuit Group. Discharged at Long Island, N. Y., March 7, 1919.

OLIVER S. PLUMMER, Sergeant, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Plummer, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Illinois, Dec. 28, 1897, and educated in the schools of his native state. Entered the service Sept. 20, 1916, and underwent a course of military training at Camp Logan; embarked over-seas in May 1917, landing in France and then to Germany,. Company A, 130th Infantry, 33 rd Division; fought at Meuse-Argonne and other fronts; gassed and wounded in the left leg and knee by shrapnel. Discharged at Camp Grant, May 30, 1919.

HARRY E. MILLSTEAD, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ettie Millstead, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Cherokee, Kansas, Nov. 7, 1899; educated in the schools of Kansas and Oklahoma. Entered the service May 1, 1917, and underwent a course of military training at Camp Doniphan; embarked overseas Nov. 18, 1917 and landed in France, 3rd Ambulance Train, 42nd Division; participated in the engagements at Chateau Thierry, St. Mihiel and Meuse-Argonne; promoted to Wagoner. Discharged at Camp Bowie, March 17, 1919.

PETER N. PERRIER, Wagoner, son of Napoleon Perrier, Ochelata, Okla., was born in Oklahoma, Dec. 24, 1896; educated in the Osage Indian School at Ochelata, Okla. Entered the service Sept. 19, 1917, and underwent a course of military training at Camp Travis; embarked overseas June 26, 1918; was in England, France, Germany and Belgium; Field Hospital 357, 90th Division; was in the battles of St. Mihiel and Meuse-Argonne. Discharged at Camp Pike, June 25, 1919.

ROBERT LEE PERRIER, son of Napoleon and Ellen Perrier, Ochelata, Okla., was born in Osage County, Okla., Dec. 15, 1893; educated in the Oklahoma schools. Entered the service July 22, 1918, and received his military training at Camp Greenleaf and West Baden, Ind.; contracted influenza which developed into pneumonia, from which he slowly recovered and was discharged at West Baden, Ind., Feb. 5, 1919.

DONALD R. WELTY, Second Lieutenant, son of N. D. and Dora Regnier Welty, Bartlesville, Okla. was born in Wamego, Kan., July 19, 1898; educated in the schools of Wamego, Bartlesville and K. U. entered the service Dec. 21, 1917, and received his military training at March Field, Riverside, Cal. Rockwell Field, San Diego; A. S. M. A ; did not go overseas. Discharged Jan. 8, 1919.

N. D. WELTY, A. E. F. Y. M. C. A. Secretary, son of Aaron (deceased) and Virginia Anne Williams Welty, Bartlesville, Okla. , was born in Wamego, Kansas, Feb. 11, 1874; educated in the schools of Wamego. Entered the service June 2, 1918; trained at Princeton, New York City, Hoboken and Paris, France; Group leader in the 5th Princeton Conference; embarked overseas June 21, 1918; One-way Trs. Sect., S. S. Patria; Div. Storekeeper, 35th Div.; Div. Sect. Toul Area Discharged at New York City, Nov. 24, 1918.

NEWELL G. WELTY, Sailor, son of Mr. and Mrs. N. D. Welty, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Wamego, Kan., April 11, 1900; educated in the schools of Wamego and Bartlesville; at present student in the University of Kansas. Entered the service May 29, 1918, and received his Naval training at the Great Lakes Training Station, Company H, 5th Regiment, Camp Perry (Great Lakes); embarked overseas in July, 1918, and landed in France and to England, U. S. S, De Kalb; 12 round trips across, doing transport duty; promoted to Seaman. Released from active duty at Dallas, Texas, Sept 25, 1919. Still on reserve.

JAMES FREDERICK LAUGHLIN, son of S. M. and Mary Elizabeth Laughlin, Dewey, Okla.. was born in Dewey, Okla., Nov. 26, 1896; educated in the Oklahoma schools. Entered the service May 25, 1917, and received his military training at Ft Riley and Camp Dix, Company D, 16th Bn., Ft. Niagara, N. Y. He was taken ill with influenza which developed into pneumonia, resulting in his death at Ft. Niagara, Oct. 15, 1918. Some there were who did not see the battle raging, but in the rear labored faithfully that the support to the front should be the best, and in their labors they died, giving their life for the cause of Liberty and Peace.

RAYMOND A. WEBER, Corporal, son of E. H. and Clara L. Weber, Dewey, Okla. was born in Dempsey, Penn., Aug. 13, 1895; educated in the schools of Pennsylvania, Oklahoma and the Kemper Military Academy, Boonville, Mo. Entered the service July 10, 1917, and received his military training at Camp Logan; embarked overseas with the A. E. F. to Siberia; was in the Philippine Islands for 4 months; promoted to Corporal. Received his discharge at the Presidio, San Francisco, Cal. July 19, 1919.

JOHN LABOD1E, Second Lieutenant, son of Frank and Samantha Labodie, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Osage County, Okla. , October 12, 1838; educated in the schools of Kansas and Missouri. He entered the service Sept. 25, 1917, and received his military training at Camp Travis, Texas, Battery E, 343rd Field Artillery; embarked overseas June 28, 1918, and landed in England and then to France. Previous to the World War he was in the Navy. Discharged at San Francisco.

GEORGE V. LABODIE, son of Frank and Samantha E. Labodie, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Caney, Kan., Sept. 18, 1892; educated in the schools of Kansas. Entered the service in May, 1918, and underwent military training at Ft. Riley. Trained in the Medical Department but did not receive order to go overseas; promoted to Sergeant Discharged at Ft Riley, Jan. 1, 1919.

PAUL F. LABODIE, Corporal, son of Frank and Samantha Labodie. Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Caney, Kan., Feb. 28, 1895. He entered the service Oct. 5, 1918, and received his military training at Camp Travis, Texas, Battery E, 343rd Field Artillery; transferred from the Infantry. Discharged at Camp Travis, January, 1918. Re-enlisted in the Infantry and ordered to Camp Fremont, Cal; did go overseas and received his discharge Feb. 1, 1919.

JOHN H. BAXTER, First Lieutenant, son of H. J. and Mary J Baxter, Bartlesville, Okla. was born in Birdsall, New York, Jan. 3, 1896; educated at Bartlesville and the University of Oklahoma. Entered the service Aug. 3, 1917, Aero Service and received his training at Kelly Field; transferred to Love Field, Dallas. Texas; placed in charge of Aero Repair Shop, and became Engineer Officer of school; on special Liberty Motor duty at Detroit and Handley-Page work at Elizabeth, N. J. Discharged at Garden City, Long Island. N. J., Jan. 23, 1919.

JAMES F. BOGGS, Aviator, son of Edwin M. Boggs, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Pennsylvania, Dec. 31, 1899; educated in the schools of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Entered the service April 14, 1917, and received his military training at Ft. Logan, Ft. Leavenworth and San Antonio, Texas; embarked overseas Feb 26, 1918; landed in England and then to France, 139th Aero Squadron, 2nd Pursuit Group; cited for bravery in dangerous missions; dropped 150,000 kilograms of bombs over enemy lines; Active Air Service from May 27. 19l8, to Nov. 11, 1918. Discharged at Camp Pike, Ark., April 10, 1919.

HOWARD E. BOGGS, Musician, son of E. M. Boggs, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Pennsylvania, March 15, 1901; educated in the schools of Bartlesville. Entered the service June 2, 1918, and received his Naval training at Seattle, Wash.; attached to the Naval Band, First Class Musician. Discharged at Seattle, Wash., March 18, 1919

REX C BOGGS, Private, son of Edwin M. Boggs, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Pennsylvania, Nov. 26, 1894; educated in the schools of Oklahoma. Entered the service June 28, 1918, and received his military training at Camp Funston and Camp Dodge, M. G. Co., 351st Reg., 88th Division; embarked overseas in August, 1918, landed in England and then to France. Discharged at Camp Pike, June 17, 1919.

EDWIN EARL FULK, Private, son of W. M. and Nannie Fulk, Foraker, Okla., was born in Rose Vale, Illinois. Jan. 21, 1890; educated in the Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma schools. Entered the service July 22, 1918, and received his military training at Camps Greenleaf and Beauregard; Base Hospital 71; embarked overseas Nov. 12, 19l8, and landed in France; transferred to Base Hospital 208; after a service of 8 months in France was returned to this country and received his discharge at Camp Pike, July 11, 1919.

MORRIS K. WEBER, Sergeant, son of H. and Etta Weber, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in East Hickory, Penn., Feb. 18, 1896; educated at Culver Military Academy, and one year at Cornell. Entered the service Sept 6. 1918, and received his military training at Camp Logan, 15th Sanitary Train, Field Hospital 260; promoted to Sergeant. Discharged at Camp Logan, Feb. 19, 1919. Died at Bartlesville, Okla., of typhoid fever, August 23, 1919.

SAMUEL F REDMAN, Corporal, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Redman, Ramona, Okla., was born in Holton, Kan., Nov. 3, 1896; educated at Walnut Grove, Mo. Entered the service April 26, 1918, and received his military training at Camp Travis, Company H, 358th Infantry, 90th Division; embarked overseas June 19, 1918, and landed in France; fought at St Mihiel and Meuse-Argonne; gassed; returned to this country on the U. S. S. Magnolia, the ship that fired the first shot of the war and sunk the first German submarine. Discharged at Camp Pike, June 21, 1919.

W. F. CROSS, Corporal, son of E. W. and Emma Cross, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Walker, Mo., March 18, 1890; educated at Ft. Scott, Kan. Entered the service Sept. 7, 1917, and landed in England and then to France, Company B, 315th Supply Train; fought at St. Mihiel and Meuse-Argonne; after Armistice was with the Army of Occupation in Germany. Discharged at Camp Pike, June 24. 1919.

J. E. DISCH, son of Nicholas and Martha J. Disch, was born in Washington County, Nebraska, January 14, 1875; educated at the South-western University at Georgetown, Texas; ordained by the Gospel University in 1896 and organized the Pastorate of First Presbyterian Church, Nowata, Okla. Entered the service June 11, 1918; Religious Direc. and BIdg. Sect, Ft. Brown and Ellington Field; Asst. Dist. Mgr. five counties in U. W. W. C; Rel. Dir. School of Fire, Ft. Sill. Released Nov. 1, 1919. Now residing in Bartlesville, Okla.

BENJAMIN L. DAVID, Corporal, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. D. David, Dewey, Okla., was born in Kansas, Oct. 6, 1918; educated in the schools of Dewey Entered the service June 24, 1918, and received his military training at Camp Cody, Company M, 67th Brigade, 133rd Infantry, 34th Division; promoted to Corporal; was stricken with illness and died at Camp Dix, Sept. 22, 1918; ready drilled and awaiting summons to cross the seas, death claimed him in Liberty’s cause.

WESLEY DAVID, Private, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. D. David, Dewey, Okla., was born in Kansas, Feb. 14, 1891; educated in the schools of Oklahoma. Entered the service April 26, 1918, and underwent an intensive course in military training at Camp Travis, Texas, Company B. 353rd Infantry, 90th Division; embarked overseas June 18, 1918, and landed in England and then to France; participated in the engagements at St. Mihiel; wounded in the neck by shrapnel and confined to the hospital for 7 months. Discharged at Camp Funston, April 25, 1919.

PAYTON L. DAVID, Cook, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. D. David, Dewey, Okla., was born in Joplin, Mo., Jan 31, 1893; educated in the Oklahoma public schools. Entered the service June 27, 1918, and received his military training at Camp Funston, Kan., Supply Company, 70th Infantry; did not go overseas, and received his discharge at Camp Funston, June 1, 1919.

PHILLIP J. DRISKO, Sailor, son of W. B. and Jennie D. Drisko, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Abilene, Kan., Feb. 5, 1891; educated in the Kansas public- schools. Entered the service May 11, 1918, and underwent a course in Naval training at the Great Lakes Training Station, U. S. S. Covington; embarked overseas in July, 1918; was on the S. S. Covington when she was sunk by a German submarine. Returned to France and returned to this country on U. S. S. Helena. Released, but still in the Naval Reserves.

C. N. CRONABLE, Sergeant, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Cronable, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Ohio, May 31, 1895 educated in the schools of Bartlesville. Entered the service May 7, 1918, and received his military training at Camp McArthur and at Waco, Texas, 27th Construction Company, A. S. A.; did not go overseas; promoted to Sergeant, and received his discharge December 30, 1918.

WALDO E. DRISKO, Private, son of W. B. and Jennie G. Drisko, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Abilene, Kan., Feb. 2, 1893; educated in the Kansas public schools. Entered the service May 25, 1918, and received his military training at Ft. Riley, Kan., and Camp Meade, Md., Evacuation Hospital Co. 6; embarked overseas Aug. 28, 1918, and landed in France and then to Germany; participated in the engagement of the Meuse-Argonne and won a promotion to First Class Private. Returned without injury and received his discharge at Camp Pike, August 20, 1919.

CHARLES RANKIN GORMAN, Sailor, son of Fannie J. Gorman, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Waco, Texas, Dec. 4, 1897; educated in the schools of Bartlesville, Okla.; entered the service July 6, 1918, and received his Naval training at the Great Lakes Training Station, U. S. S. Maumee; embarked overseas in January, 1919, touching France, Cuba and the Azores. Received his discharge at New York in August, 1919.

W. R. EDWARDS, Private, son of Mrs. Etta Edwards, Copan, Okla., was born in Copan, Okla., November 15, 1896; educated in the schools of Oklahoma. Entered the service July 24, 1917, and underwent a course in military training at Camp Funston, Kansas, Company A, 70th Infantry; did not go overseas and received his discharge at Camp Funston, January 31, 1919.

HARRIS J. ELDER, Corporal, son of J. E. and Ada F. Elder, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Sheridan, Indiana, Feb. 6, 1895; educated in the schools of Carmel, Ind. Entered the service Sept 19, 1917, and received his military training at Camp Travis, Texas; embarked overseas in July, 1918, landing in England and then to France, Company L, 358th Infantry, 90th Division; fought at St Mihiel and the Argonne Forrest; wounded and suffered loss of his right eye. Received his discharge at Camp Funston, Kansas, March l1, 1919.

EVERETT H. HUFF, Navy, First Class Petty Officer, son of John Huff, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Springfield, Mo., Nov. 11, 1898; educated in the schools of Missouri and Kansas. Entered the service May 30, 1918, and received his military training at Puget Sound Naval Station, Seattle, Wash.; did not go overseas. Received his discharge in December, 1919.

JAMES MILTON FALLS, Private, son of Joshua and Isabella Falls, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Michigan, February, 1892; educated in the schools of Ohio. Entered the service in August, 1918, and received his military training at Camp Travis, Texas, Company 83, 21st Bn.. 165th D. B.; was stricken with acute diabetes and after an illness of 24 hours died, Sept. 28, 1918. His home was with his uncle, T. J. Craig, for 7 years prior to his death.

VANCE C. HORTON, Sergeant, son of Cleveland G. and Lillian B. Horton, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Marshall, Ark., Aug. 16, 1893; educated at Fayetteville, Ark. Entered the service July 22, 1918, and underwent his military training at Camp Greenleaf, Instruction Company I; embarked overseas October 26, 1918, and landed in France; transferred to Headquarters Company, A. P. O. 781. Received his discharge at Camp Pike. October 7, 1919.

HUGH MARVIN HAMILTON, Sailor, son of Lergenia Hamilton, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Grove, Okla., Jan. 1, 1897; educated in the public schools of the state. Entered the service July 13, 1918, and received his Naval training at the Great Lakes Training Station; did not go overseas, and received his discharge at Philadelphia, Dec. 12, 19l8. Now engaged in the production of oil.

ERVA V. HORSLEY, Private, son of B. D. and Mary Horsley, Ramona, Okla., was born in Walnut, Kansas, March 29, 1895; educated in the schools of that state and Oklahoma. Entered the service July 22, 1918, and received his military training at Camp Greenleaf, Georgia, Base Hospital 99, Casualty Detention Demob. Group; embarked overseas Oct. 26, 1918, landing in England and then to France. Returned uninjured and received his discharge at Camp Pike, Jan. 30, 1919.

WILLIAM PHILLIPS MOORE, Seaman, Second Class, son of D. W. and Josephine Moore, Bartlesville. Okla., was born in Pennsylvania, June 16, 1899; educated in the Bartlesville public schools. Entered the service June 1, 1918, and received his military training at Seattle, Wash., Naval Reserve; did not go overseas; promoted to Seaman Second Class. Discharged at Seattle, Dec. 17, 1919.

ELMER S. KIGHTLINGER, Color Sergeant, Master Engineer, Junior Grade, son of E. E. and Ida Kightlinger, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Kansas City, Mo., May 11, 1896; educated in the schools of Kansas. Entered the service Sept. 20, 1917, and received his military training at Camp Travis, 315th Engineers, Headquarters Company; embarked overseas in June, 1918, and landed in France; with the 90th Division and the Army of Occupation in Germany. Discharged at Camp Pike, June 30, 1919.

JOSEPH EDWIN MILLS, Corporal, son of J. A. and Ada Mills, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Bushnell, Illinois, May 13, 1897; educated in the Checotah, Okla., schools. Entered the service May 31, 1918, and received his military training at Ft. Logan, Camp Co. 19, Joseph E. Johnson, Quartermaster’s Department; transferred to Q. M. Dept., Washington, D. C; did not go overseas; promoted to Corporal. Discharged at Camp Meigs, Dec. 15, 1918.

MILO H. OVERLEES, Second Lieutenant, A. S. A., son of Frank and Carrie Overlees, Bartlesville, Okla. was born in Bartlesville, Sept. 18, 1894; educated at Culver Military Academy and William Jewell College. Entered the service Nov. 7, 1917; received his training course in Aviation at Austin, Texas, Kelly Field 2, and Brooks’ Field, San Antonio, Texas; did not go overseas; promoted to Second Lieutenant Discharged January 6, 19l9.

C. W. KINSEY, Corporal, son of W. R. Kinsey, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Iola, Kan., April 14, 1894; educated in the schools of Kansas and Oklahoma. Entered the service in September, 1917, and received his military training at Camp Travis, Texas, Company A, 358th Infantry, 90th Division; embarked overseas in June, I9l8, and landed in France and then to Germany; fought at the Chateau Thierry and the Meuse-Argonne; uninjured; promoted to Corporal. Discharged at Camp Travis in June, l9l9.

R. J. MYERS, Corporal, son of M. B. Myers. Bartlesville, Okla.; was born in Kingston, N. Y., July 3, 1888; educated in the schools of Kingston. Entered the service December 10, 1917, and received his military training at Rock Island Arsenal, 4th Heavy Mobile Repair Shops; embarked overseas July 9, 1918, and landed in France, 4th H. M. R. S.; participated in the battle of Argonne. Discharged at Camp

CHARLES E. MURPHY Private First Class, son of Mrs. Clara B. Murphy, Ramona, Okla., was born in Oklahoma, Aug. 13, 1895. and educated in the schools of Ramona. Entered the service June 15, 1918, and underwent his military training at Camp Meade and Ft Leavenworth, 14th Service Company, Signal Corps; did not go overseas. Received his discharge at Camp Meade, Feb. 8, 1919.

H. G. MYERS, Sergeant, son of M. B. Myers, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Kingston, N. Y., March 27, 1885; educated in the schools of his native city and at Ulster Academy. Entered the service August 1, 1917, and underwent his military training at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri, Aero Service; transferred to the Transportation Department; did not go overseas. Discharged at Camp Funston, Kan.,

ALFRED J. TAYRIEN, Sailor, son of Andrew and Francis Taynrien, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Bartlesville, Okla., May 17, 1899; educated in the schools of Missouri and Oklahoma; was attending Kemper Military Academy at Boonville, Missouri, when he entered the service. May 1, 1918; received his Naval training at Bremerton, Washington, First Class Boy Petty Officer, Receiving Ship; did not go overseas. Discharged at Bremerton, April 9, 1919.

CLIFFORD L. PENDLETON, Sergeant, son of Mrs. Nancy Pendleton, Miami, Okla., was born in Pennsylvania, Nov. 9, 1888; educated in the schools of Pennsylvania and high school graduate. Entered the service May 21, 1917, and received his military training at Ft. Russell, Wyoming, Troop I, 1st Cavalry; did not go overseas. Discharged at Ft. Douglas, Arizona, in January, 1919.

HARRY J. CONNOLLY, Navy, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Connolly, Tulsa, Okla., was born in Pennsylvania, April 3, 1893; educated at Parkersburg, W. Virginia. Entered the service in May. 1917, and received his naval training at Mare Island, Cal.; did not go overseas; assigned to U. S. S. Vicksburg and on duty in the Gulf of Mexico. Received his discharge in April, 1919.

C. VERNON SELLERS, Second Lieutenant, son of H. M. and Lydia J. Sellers, Bartlesville, Okla., was born in Lima, Ohio, March 12, 1894; educated in the schools of Ohio, Okla., and Ann Arbor, Mich. Entered the service May 1, 1918, and received his military training at Austin, Texas, and Ft. Sill, Okla., Aero Service; did not go overseas. Discharged at Ft Sill, Dec. 20, 1918.

NOBLE T. POINDEXTER, Sailor, son of Mr. and Mrs. N. L. Poindexter. Dewey, Okla., was born in Missouri, Dec. 4, 1899; educated in the schools of Missouri, and received his military training at the Great Lakes Training Station; made two trips across, one on the Elsol, the only ship that made the journey alone after war was declared; in the hospital two months from influenza and pneumonia; has never fully recovered. Discharged at Newport News, Va., Jan. 8, 1919.
