CLAUDE OLIVER NEWBORN, Sailor, son of D. J. and Sarah W. Newborn, Granfield, Okla., was born in Texas, Nov. 19, 1897. Enlisted July 30, 1918; trained at San Pedro, CaL; did not go overseas. Discharged at New Orleans, Feb. 4, 1919.

SIDNEY W. KERR, Private, son of Oliver H. and Ida W. Kerr, Frederick, Okla., was born in Texas, June 30, 1897. Enlisted July, 1917; trained at Camp Logan; guard duty. Discharged Feb. 19, 1919.

CLAY W. KERR, Private, son of Oliver H. and Ida W. Kerr, was born in Texas, March 6, 1890. Enlisted May 25, 1918; trained at Camp Bowie; overseas July 18, 1918, France; fought at Argonne. Discharged at New York, July 17, 1919.

JAS. STROTHER KERR, First Class Private, son of Oliver H. and Ida W. Kerr, Frederick, Okla., was born in Texas, Oct. 16, 1893. Enlisted May I, 1917; trained at EI Paso, Texas; embarked overseas June, 1917, at Toul and Chateau Thierry; killed in action, July 18, 1918.

JAMES J. MALONE, Private, son of Wm. T. and Julia E. Malone, Frederick, Okla., was born in Texas, Feb. 20, 1897. Enlisted July 4, 1918; trained at Camp Travis; did not go overseas. Discharged June 1, 1919.

ERWIN HARDIN, Radio Operator, son of Jno. and Nola Hardin, Granfield, Okla., was born in Texas, Feb. 14, 1890. Enlisted Aug. 14, 1918; did not go overseas. Discharged Jan. 21, 1919.

ORA ELLIS DAWS, First Class Private, son of S. O. and Mary J. Daws, Frederick, Okla., was born in Texas, Jan. 10, 1891. Enlisted Aug. 4, 1918; trained at Camp Fremont; overseas October, 1918. Discharged at Camp Pike, March 16, 1919.

CLARENCE WESLEY HUNTER, Second Lieutenant, son of Mrs. Ida B. Hunter, Frederick, Okla., was born in Guthrie, Okla., Nov. 19, 1895. Enlisted April 18, 1918. Discharged at Post Field, Jan. 25, 1919.

ZAC. T. TRIGG, Private, son of W. G. and M. A. Trigg, was born in Texas, Sept. 26, 1895. Enlisted May 6, 1918; trained at Waco, Texas; ready to go when Armistice was signed. Discharged June 17, 1919.

PHILIP HAYDEN HAMMONS, Private, son of Abe S. and Anna Belle Hammons, Frederick, Okla., was born in Tennessee, June 18, 1896; graduate of Thomas, Okla., high school and Phillips University. He entered the service May 27, 1918, and received his military training at Camp Bowie, Texas, Hdq. Co., 143rd Inf., 36th Division; embarked overseas in August, 1918, landing in France. Received his discharge at Camp Pike, June 14, 1918.

WILLIAM H. GIBSON, Navy, First Petty Officer, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Gibson (now Whistler), Frederick, Okla., was born in Kansas, Dec. 27, 1899; educated in the public schools of Lawton, Okla. Entered the service June 16, 1916, and received his Naval training at the Great Lakes Training Station, and is still in the service.

AMBROSE W. CLARK, Sergeant, son of O. E. and Belle Clark, Granfield, Okla., was born in Texas, June 25, 1894; educated in the public schools of Texas. He entered the service April 26, 1918, and received his military training at Camp Travis, Company L, 357th Infantry, 90th Division; embarked overseas in June, 1918, and landed in France; participated in the engagements at St Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne; gassed Oct. 29, 1918 Discharged at Camp Pike, June 17, 1919.

WILLIAM C HOSTETTER, Private, son of Ananias and Laura Hostetter, Frederick, Okla., was born in Indiana, March 21, 1896; educated in the public schools of Oklahoma and Indiana. He entered the service in February, 1918, and underwent an intensive military training at Camp Travis, Texas, Supply Company, in 90th Division; embarked overseas in June, 1918, landing in France; was in the Argonne and St. Mihiel battles and with the Army of Occupation in Germany; leg broken while in the service. Discharged at Camp Pike in May, 1919.

GEORGE G. MOORE, Second Class Seaman, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Moore, was born in Texas, April 3, 1896; educated in the schools of Oklahoma. He entered the service July 1, 1917, and received his naval training at the Great Lakes Training Station; embarked overseas Dec. 18; convoyed President Wilson’s ship; stationed at Brest, France; sent via. Panama Canal to Vancouver, Wash. Discharged at Dallas, Texas, Oct. 2, 1919.

O. G. THURMOND, Private, son of Lee and Ada Thurmond, Frederick, Okla., was born in Texas, Sept. 5, 1892, and educated in the public schools of Oklahoma and Texas. He entered the service July 23, 1918, and received his military training at Camp Travis; embarked overseas in August, 1918, and landed in France, U. S. Base Hospital No. 19, and transferred to Base Hospital No. 20. Discharged at Camp Travis in October, 1919.

ROBERT WEBB, Private First Class, son of Mrs. Hattie L. Webb, Greenfield, Okla., was born in Arkansas, March 24, 1896; educated in the public schools of Oklahoma. He entered the service in June, 1917, and underwent an intensive military training at Camp Travis, Texas; embarked overseas in June. 1918, and landed in France; participated in the engagements at St. Mihiel and the Meuse-Argonne, Company M, 357th Infantry, 90th Division; uninjured. Received his discharge at Camp Pike, in June, 1919.

THOMAS W. WEBB, son of William and Kittie D. Webb, was born in Greenfield, Okla., Aug. 8, 1898, and educated in the public schools of Oklahoma. He entered the service July 25, 1918. and received his military training at Balboa Park, San Diego, Calf.; did not go overseas and received his discharge at Camp Pike in June, 1919.
