NOWATA COUNTY

FRED B. TAYLOR, Wann, Okla., was born in Oklahoma, Dec. 14, 1895, and educated in the schools of his native state. Entered the service Feb. 2, 1918, and received his military training at Vancouver, Wash., Company F, 318th Reg. Eng.; embarked overseas May 6, 1918, and landed in France and then to Germany; fought at the Meuse-Argonne; promoted to Corporal Received his discharge at Camp Pike, June 24, 1919.

EVERETT REYNOLDS, Private, son of W. A. and Francis Reynolds, Wann, Okla., was born in Missouri, March 19, 1889, and was educated in the public schools of Missouri. He entered the service Sept. 19, 1917, and received his military training at Camp Travis, Company H, 358th Infantry, 90th Division; embarked overseas Feb. 27, 1918, and landed in France; transferred to Co. M, 314th Inf., 79th Div.; was in action at Verdun; wounded by shrapnel.Discharged October 3, 1919.

LESLIE REYNOLDS, Private, son of W. A. andFrancis Reynolds, Wann, Okla., was born in Missouri, Jan. 17, 1891, and was educated in the Missouri public schools. Entered the service Sept. 19, 1917, and underwent a course of military training at Camp Travis, Texas; embarked overseas June 10, 1918, and landed in France, Company H, 358th Infantry, 90th Division; promoted to Sergeant; in action at St. Mihiel and was wounded in his left side by flying shrapnel which resulted in his death Sept. 16, 1919. He made the supreme sacrifice that humanity might live in Freedom and Peace. His name will endure forever.

JOHN D. REYNOLDS, Private, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Reynolds, Wann, Okla., was born in Missouri, Jan. 25, 1896, and educated in the schools of Kansas and Oklahoma. He entered the service July 25, 1918, and underwent an intensive military training at Camp Greenleaf; embarked overseas in October, 1918, landing in England and then to France, Convalescent Company No. 12; sick during most of his stay in France. Discharged at Camp Bowie, July 5, 1919.

JAMES E. McCALL, Private, son of P. S. and Sadie McCall, Wann, Okla., was born in Marietta, Ohio, entered service May 17, 1917, and received his military training at Camp Travis Company H, 358th Infantry, 90th Division; embarked overseas May 1, 1918, landed in England, then to France; transferred to Co. L, 59th Inf., 4th Division; in action at St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne and Marne; uninjured. Received his discharge at Camp Pike, August 14, 1919.
