WM. R. BALL, Corpl, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ball, Lindsay, Okla., was born in Oklahoma, Dec. 2, 1893; enlisted April 25, 1918. trained at Camp Travis, Co. D, 357th Inf., 90th Div.; overseas, June 9, 1918; fought at Argonne; decorated with Congressional Cross; made the supreme sacrifice, September 25, I918.

FRANK OTIS BYRD. son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Byrd, Maysville, Okla., was born in Alabama, July 3, 1895. enlisted Sept. 19, 1917 trained at Camp Travis; overseas, Co. „H, 128th Inf., 36th Div.; shot in the thigh and gassed; discharged at Camp Pike, May 18, 1919.

D. D. DILLARD, son of R. H. Dillard, Lindsay, Okla., was born in Texas, July 27, 1897; enlisted Oct 12, 1918; trained at Camp Cody, did not go overseas; discharged Dec. 8, 1919, at Camp Pike.

S. P. DUSHANE. son of Lulu Beth Dushane, born in Oklahoma, Oct. 17, 1895; enlisted in June. 1917; trained at Leavenworth; overseas in June. 1918. still in the service.

SAM GREEN. Pvt.. son of Mary F. Green, Katy, Okla.. was born in Arkansas, March 26 ,1895; enlisted May 25, 1918; trained at Camp Bowie. 142nd Inf.; overseas July 11, 1918; Guard duty on the Rhine River; discharged at Coblenz, Germany, July 1. 1919.

JESS JOHNSON. Sgt., son of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Johnson, Lindsay. Okla., was born in Oklahoma. Sept. 18. 1892; enlisted in June, 1918; trained at Camp Travis; did not go overseas; discharged in Arizona. 1919.

LEWIS JOHNSON. Sgt.. son of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Johnson. Lindsay. Okla.. was born in Oklahoma. Feb. 18, 1894: enlisted May 28. 1918. did not go overseas: still in the service.

WILLIAM JOHNSON. Corp., son of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Johnson. Lindsay, Okla., was born in Oklahoma. May 17. 1890; enlisted Sept. 19. 1917; trained at Camp Travis in 90th Div.; overseas. July 2. 1918; 78 days on the front, at Argonne. gassed; discharged at Camp Pike. June 20. 1919.

ESKER LA ROY. Pvt.. son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. La Roy. Pauls Valley, Okla., was born in Alabama. June 25, 1897; enlisted Oct. 29. 1918: trained at Camp Cody. 163rd Depot Brigade; did not go overseas; discharged at Camp Dodge. Iowa, Dec. 13, 1918.

EMMET McCAUGHEY. Pvt.. son of Mr. and Mrs. Emmet McCaughey, Lindsay. Okla., was born March 19. 1890. enlisted in June. 1917; trained at Camp Cody, Co. F. 109th Ammunition Train; overseas in September, 1918; M. P. for some time; discharged May 24, 1918.

JAS. A. PETERSON. Pvt., son of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Peterson. Pauls Valley. Okla., was born in Pauls Valley, July 17. 1902; enlisted Aug. 12. 1918; trained at Camp Logan and Ft. Barry, Co. A. R. D. C. A. C. Ft Winfield Scott, discharged Dec. 28, 1919, at Camp Bowie.

ROBERT WYATT REEVES, Pvt., son of W. R. Reeves. Lindsay, Okla.. was born in Texas. March 2, 1897; enlisted May 3. 1917; trained at the Great Lakes. Wireless Opr. on U. S. S. Louisiana; sunk one Sub.; discharged at Hampton Roads, March 20, 1919.

HUBERT W. CAMP, Sgt., son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Camp, Pauls Valley, Okla., was born in Pauls Valley, Nov. 21, 1895; enlisted Jan. 15, 1918. trained at Camp Pike, Ark. and Camp Grant, 111.; did not go overseas; discharged Feb. 25, 1919, at Camp Funston.

GEORGE F. RILEY, Pvt., son of Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Riley, Paoli, Okla., was born in Oklahoma, June 18, 1895; enlisted Aug. 1, 1918, and trained at San Francisco, Cal., Goat Island; did not go overseas, in hospital two months; still in the service.

O. D. SEXTON. Pvt., son of D. S. Sexton, Maysville, Okla., was born in Oklahoma. Oct. 12, 1895; enlisted May 24, 1918; trained at Camp Bowie, 36th Div.; overseas in June, 1918; fought at the Argonne; gassed and in the hospital three months, discharged at Camp Merritt.

FRANCIS C. SOUTHERN. Pvt. son of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Southern, Pauls Valley, Okla., was born in Oklahoma, Oct. 2, 1896; enlisted Oct. 27. 1918; trained at Camp Pike, Ark. and Camp Hancock, Ga.; did not go overseas; discharged at Camp Pike, June 18. 1919.

WILLIE STEPHENS. Pvt.. son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Stephens, Frances, Okla., was born in Oklahoma; entered the service in March, 1918. trained at Camp Pike; overseas in April, 1918; fought in the Argonne; discharged at Camp Pike, in September, 1919.

W. R. VANCE, son of Mrs. Lulu Vance, Lindsay. Okla.. was born in Oklahoma. Sept. 15. 1896: entered the service Aug. 1. 1918, and trained at San Pedro, Cal.. U. S. N. R. F.; did not go overseas; discharged Jan. 5, 1919.

A. J. WARD. Pvt., son of C. D. Ward.Lindsay. Okla., was born in Oklahoma. May 12. 1896: enlisted June 27. 191S. trained at Camp Cody; did not go overseas; died with influenza at Camp Dix. N. M.

C. E WARD. Corp.. son of Mr. and Mrs. C D. Ward. Lindsay. Okla.. was born in Texas. May 30. 1892; enlisted March 29. 1918; trained at Camp Cody and Camp Gordon: did not go overseas, discharged at Camp Bowie. Dec. 22. 1919.

LESLIE WEBSTER. First Class Pvt. son of Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Webster. Paoli. Okla., was born in Alabama. Oct. 2. 1895; enlisted Sept. 19. 1917; overseas Oct. 7. 1918. Co. C. 129th Mch. Gun Div.; discharged at Camp Oglethorpe. Ga.. May 16. 1919.

WILLIAM D. WEBSTER. Pvt.. son of J. H. Webster. Paoli. Okla.. was born in Alabama. March 9. 1892: enlisted July 24. 1918. trained at Camp Wheeler. Ga : overseas Sept. 29. 1918. Co. G. 328th Inf.. 82nd Div.; discharged at Camp Pike. June 7. 1919.

THEODORE AXDERSON. Pvt., son of J. W. and Cora Anderson, Paoli. Okla.. was born in Oklahoma, Feb. 29. 1894; enlisted . May 25. 1918; trained at Camp Bowie, overseas, July 16. 1918. Co. C, 141st Inf., 36th Div.; fought at St. Etienne and made the Supreme Sacrifice. Oct. 8. 1918. He died that mankind might live in Freedom and Peace.

HERMAN WESLEY ARMSTRONG. Pvt son of H. E. Wesley Armstrong. Ozark, Ark., was born in Arkansas, May 6, 1894; enlisted Sept. 18, 1918; trained at New Orleans. La., Co. A, S. A. T. C. Camp Martin; did not go overseas; discharged at New Orleans. Dec. 21, 1918.

ALBERT T. HARMON He answered the call to colors in the hour of his country's need, and while receiving his training preparatory to going over to help conquer the world's enemy he contracted meningitis, and after an illness of only three days succumbed to that dread disease. This young soldier was a devout Christian, member of the M. E. Church, W. O.W. and was just entering full manhood. Albert T. Harmon, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Harmon, R. F. D. No. 1, Maysville, Okla., was born in Garvin County, Oklahoma, October 8, 1898; educated in the schools of Garvin County. Entered the service December 8, 1917, and received his Naval training at the Great Lakes Station; was stricken ill and died January 3, 1918. He was buried at Paoli; Reverend Keith, of Pauls Valley, officiating.

GEORGE WILLIAM BAKER Always, since the dawn of Time, in the great hour of need, humanity finds ready somewhere brave souls who enter the fray in its behalf. They go willingly when the cry is heard, and gladly lay down their lives that a suffering world may be saved. So, this hero, one of Oklahoma's true soldiers, marched out to battle and made the supreme sacrifice that the world might be saved to Freedom and Peace. He was killed in action in a charge at St Mihiel. Out of eighty who went into the red carnage but eight returned. George William Baker, Private, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Baker, Pauls Valley, Okla., was born in Pauls Valley, June 4, 1895; educated in the Pauls Valley schools. Entered the service Feb. 25, 1918, and received his military training at Camp Travis, Texas, Co. D, 358th Inf., 90th Division; embarked overseas in June, 1918, landing in England and then to France. Killed in action at St. Mihiel, Sept. 24, 1918.

CECIL. R. SECOR Corporal. Killed in action at Chateau Thierry. Just seventeen years old, entering the flower of manhood, Destiny beckoned him into the smiling future, but the world cry of anguish from tottering Christianity reached his ears and he answered, laying his young life upon the altar of Liberty that the world might be made safe for Peace. He is buried in Grave No. 62, Section C, American Cemetery No. 1764, Balleau, Aisne. The first soldier from Garvin County to make the supreme sacrifice. Cecil R. Secor, son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Secor, Pauls Valley, Okla., was born in Oklahoma, May 7, 1900; educated at the A. & M. College at Tishomingo, Okla. Entered the service April 9, 1917, and received his military training at Camp Syracuse, N. Y., Company D, 23rd Infantry, 2nd Division; embarked overseas September, 1917, and landed in France; promoted to Corporal. Killed in action June 6, 1918. His name will endure forever.

WILLIAM A. MORRIS One of Oklahoma's heroes who made the supreme sacrifice. Just as the clouds of war were gathering to their fullness, and the world was faltering on the verge of destruction, they cried for help lest they perish and this hero answered with the thousands of his brother soldiers from Oklahoma, answered and marched away to conquer the forces of evil let loose in the world. He died and history's eternal pages will contain the record of no nobler deed. That a man gives his life that mankind may live in peace is the noblest sacrifice that mortal may ever make. Private William A. Morris, son of Mrs. Jessie B. Morris, was born in Thackerville, Okla., May 24, 1896; educated in the schools of Garvin County and Oklahoma City. Entered the service in the early part of the war and trained at Ft. Logan, Colorado; embarked overseas June 21, 1917, Co. E, 16th Infantry, 2nd Division. Killed in action between 18th and 24th of July, 1918. He is buried at Soissons, France.

JAMES V. WEBSTER, Private, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Webster, Pauls Valley, Okla., was born at Winfield, Ala., Dec. 16, 1896; was educated in the Pauls Valley schools. Entered the service in June, 1918, and received his military training at Camp Travis, Texas, Co. F, l4lst Infantry, 36th Division; embarked overseas in June, 1918, and landed in France; assigned to Headquarters company; contracted influenza in France, recovering after a lengthy illness; was ordered a discharge but refused it, afterwards serving as Cook. Returned to this country and received his discharge at Camp Bowie, in June, 1919.

WILLIAM W. REICHERT, Private, son of William Reichert, and Mrs. W. S. (Reichert) Clark, Wynnewood, Okla., was born in Richard, Okla., Aug. 4, 1897; received his education in the schools of Wynnewood, Okla. Entered the service Oct 22, 1918, and trained at Camp Cody, where he remained perfecting himself against the time when he would be ordered to the front. He received his discharge at Camp Cody, Dec. 16, 1918.

RELPHORD J. REEVES, Private, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Reeves, Pauls Valley, Okla., was born in Fayette, Ala., Sept. 27, 1897; educated in the schools of Pauls Valley. Entered the service May 20, 1918, and received his military training at Ft. Logan, Colo., C. A. C, 44th Co., 11th Receiving Bu., 162nd Depot Br. Other assignments: C. A. ., 43rd Co., Bat. D, 67th U. S. Art., Presidio, San Francisco; 15th Co., S. F., Bat. D, 67th Art., C. A. C, Camp Mills; embarked overseas August 26, 1918, landing in Brest, France; two gold chevrons. Discharged at Camp Pike, March 25, 1919.

W. S. KLINGLESMITH, Seaman, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Klinglesmith, Paoli, Okla., was born in Paoli, Okla., June 30, 1898; educated in the schools of Paoli. Entered the service Nov. 20, 1917, and received his Naval training at the Great Lakes Training Station; embarked overseas in May, 1918, landing in Liverpool, England; assigned to the Navy Police. Discharged at St Louis, Mo., July 29, 1919.

NOAH KLINGLESMITH, Private, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Klinglesmith, of Paoli, Okla., was born in Paoli, Okla., July 17, 1895; educated in the schools of his nativity. Entered the service May 25, 1918, and received his military training at Camp Bowie, Texas; transferred to New York, Company D, Development Battalion I. Discharged at Camp Upton, August 8, 1918.

YATE S. DUNN, Chief Petty Officer, son of Mrs. H. M. Dunn, Pauls Valley, Okla., was born in Rosebud, Texas, Sept. 12, 1895; educated in the schools of Pauls Valley, Okla. Entered the service in May, 1917, and received his Naval training at Mare Island, Cal.; ordered to Central America and returned to San Diego, Cal.; did not go overseas. Discharged at Dallas, Texas, May 31, 1918.

BARNEY E. KINNEY, Marine, one of those famous “Devil Dogs” who the Boche dreaded more than anyone else. All over the world the U. S. Marines are the first always to land and fight, upholding the honor of our flag wherever man lives. Bravest of the brave, there is nothing they cannot do, and they know no such word as “retreat.” So this Oklahoma boy upheld the traditions of this branch of the army that reaches back to the beginning of this country. Barney E. Kinney, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Kinney, R. F. D. No. 1, Paoli, Okla., was born in Texas, May 22, 1895; educated there. Entered the service Feb. 14, 1918, trained at Mare Island; embarked overseas May 15, 1918, 6th M. G. Bn„ 3rd C. Co. B; fought at Balleau, Chateau Thierry 2, Aisne, St. Mihiel; killed while crossing the Meuse River night of Nov. 10, 1918, one day before the Armistice was signed.

W. B. CRUMP, Navy, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Crump, Wynnewood, Okla., was born in Wynnewood, Okla., Oct. 4, 1899; educated at Castle Heights, Lebanon, Tenn. Entered the service July 18, 1917; received his Naval training at San Diego, Cal. Came home in February, 1918, not discharged but placed on the inactive list.

W. W. CRUMP, Private, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Crump, Wynnewood, Okla., was born in Wynnewood, Okla., August 3, 1895; educated at Castle Heights, Tennessee, and University of Oklahoma. Entered the service Sept. 3, 1917, and received his military training at Camp Bowie, Texas, 36th Division; limited service man while undergoing training at Camp Bowie he contracted the influenza and died Oct. 21, 1917. Another of those brave souls who stood ready for duty of any kind upholding the honor of his country. He awaited the hour that he might be called to the front to offer his efforts toward helping a struggling world. He died in the cause that Liberty and Peace might prevail. Before entering the service he was the loyal aid to his father in his banking business at Wynnewood.

WARREN REEVES GIBSON, First Class Seaman, son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Gibson, Pauls Valley, Okla., was born in Pauls Valley, Jan. 24, 1900, and received his education in the schools of that city. Entered the service July 28, 1918, and received his Naval training at Goat Island, San Francisco, Cal.; did not go overseas. Released Feb. 17, 1919.

PAUL C. BRADLEY, Second Class Machinist Mate, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl A. Bradley, Pauls Valley, Okla., was born in Pauls Valley, and educated in the schools of that city. Entered the service in May, 1918, and received his Naval training at San Diego, Cal., Naval Training Camp, Balboa Park; did not go overseas, and received his discharge at San Diego, March 28. 1919.

JOSEPH HEADY HAUGHLIN, Sailor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher B. Haughlin, Pauls Valley, Okla. was born in Taylorville, Kentucky. Oct. 3, 1897, and educated in the Pauls Valley schools. Entered the service April 19, 1918, and received his Naval training at the Great Lakes Training Station; overseas Dec. 28, 1918, to France; made four trips across. Discharged at Hampton Roads, Va., February 10, 1919.

EDWIN L. BRADLEY, Private, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl A. Bradley, Pauls Valley, Okla., was born in Pauls Valley, Dec. 25, 1896, and educated at the schools of that city. Entered the service April 9, 1918, and received his military training at Ft. Winfield Scott, and the Presidio at San Francisco, Cal.; embarked overseas August 31, 1918, Park Battery C. A. A. P., 1st Army; fought at Meuse-Argonne and Verdun; uninjured. Discharged at Camp Pike, May 17, 1919.

SAMUEL L. DICKSON, Private, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Dickson, Maysville, Okla., was born in Oklahoma, May 27, 1894, and educated in the schools of Elmore, Okla. Entered the service Aug. 7, 1917, and underwent his military training at Newport, R. L, First Class Cook; did not go overseas. Discharged at Dallas, Texas, August 6,

WILL I. McGEE, Private, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. G. McGee, Pauls Valley, Okla., was born in Cleburne, Texas, Aug. 27, 1896, and educated in the schools of that city. Entered the service Aug. 27, 1918, and received his military training at Camp Pike; did not go overseas; received his discharge at Camp Pike, December 18, 1919.

JOHN McGEE, Corporal, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. G. McGee, Pauls Valley, Okla., was born in Cleburne, Texas, Feb. 22, 1892, and educated in the schools of that city. Entered the service Sept. 20, 1917, and received his military training at Camp Travis, Co. B, 375th Inf., 90th Division; embarked overseas June 20, 1918, and landed in England, then to ,France; fought at St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne. Discharged at Camp Pike, June 20, 1919.

JOHN FROMAN HAUGHLIN, First Class Private, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher B. Haughlin, Pauls Valley, Okla., was born in Taylorsville, Kentucky, Sept 4, 1895; educated in the Pauls Valley schools. Entered the service January 15, 1918, and received his military training at Camp Johnson; embarked overseas April 16, 1918, and landed in France; attached to the British Forces; fought to Ypres; discharged at Camp Pike, Sept.4, 1919.

SAM S. BOTTOMS, son of Mr. and Mrs. Z. T. Bottoms, Pauls Valley, was born at Paola, May 22, 1892, and educated in the Paola schools. Entered service May 27, 1918, and trained in Base Hospital 88 at Camp Dodge, Iowa. Went to France in Sept. 17, 1918, first of company to volunteerfor firing line; spent two weeks and he was one of six out of thirteen to return. Discharged at Camp Pike, Ark., Aug. 8, 1919.

DR. E. H. LAIN, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Lain, Paoli, Okla., was born in Kentucky, August 6, 1878; educated at St. Louis Medical School. Entered service July 31, 1918, and trained at Camp Kearney, Cal., with 263rd Ambulance Corps, 16th Sanitary Train. Commissioned First Lieutenant Discharged at Camp Pike, February, 1919.

F. O. BOONE, son of Mr. am Mrs. J. B. Boone, Lindsay, Okla., was born in Missouri, June 16 1900, and educated in Lindsay Entered service in April, 1917, and trained at Ft. Sill and Camp Bowie Went to France July 11, 1918, with Co. K, 167th Inf., 42nd Division Fought at St. Mihiel; was gassed there Oct. 16, 1918. Discharge at Camp Pike.

ROBERT T. DAVENPORT, was born in Davis Okla., Oct. 9, 1888, and entered service May 21 1918, going to Camp Bowie for training with C B, I4lst Infantry, 36th Division. Went overseas with the 36th Division July 10, 1918. Was killed in the Battle at Champagne, gladly going to his death, knowing that the world would be safe for his having done so. Was buried in Argone Cemetery.

ORRIN C. SCOTT, son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Scott, Pauls Valley, was born at Lampasas, Texas, Oct. 30, 1895, and educated at Wedemeyer Academy. Dalton, Texas. Entered service Dec. 6, 1917, and trained at Ft. Leavenworth with Depot Co. I, Signal Corps. Went overseas with 15th Service Signal Corps. Was promoted to First Class Sergeant. Discharged Jan. 22, 1919, at Camp Pike, Ark.

SAM J. SPEED, son of James L. Speed, Wynnewood, Okla., was born there Oct. 17, 1897, and educated at Tishomingo. Entered service June 10, 1918; trained at Ft. Crockett, Texas, with Battery F, 75th Heavy Artillery. Went to France with the Heavy Artillery but didn’t get in any battles. Discharged at Camp Bowie.

L. G. SAMPLE, son of Mr. and Mrs. 1. H. Sample. Maysville, Okla., was born in Oklahoma, March 30. 1894, and educated in Maysville schools. Entered training Sept. 19, 1917, and trained with 90th Div. at Camp Travis. Went to France May 21, 1918, with the 90th. Was in trench 76 days without relief at St. Mihiel. Discharged at Camp Mills, May 21, 1919.

FRED MORGAN SNIDER, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. C. Snider, Pauls Valley, was born in Washington, Iowa, Sept. 25, 1893, and educated at Pauls Valley. Entered service Dec. 18. 1918; trained at Ft. Rosecrans, Cal., with Battery A, 65th Artillery, C. A. C. Went to England in February, 1919, then to France. Fought at St. Mihieil Meuse-Argonne and Verdun. Discharged

C. LLOYD, son of J. J. Lloyd, Paoli, Okla., was born in Texas, August 8, 1900, and educated in the state schools. Entered service in 1917, and trained at the Great Lakes Training Station. Discharged at Dallas, Texas, in August, 1919.

ALVIN FINLY PYEATT, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Pyeatt, Pauls Valley, Okla., was born there Jan. 21, 1902, and educated in the Pauls Valley schools. Entered service Aug. 31, 1918, and trained at San Francisco. Was discharged after being promoted to First Class Seaman, at San Diego, March 14, 1919.

GRAYSON M. McCARTY, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. McCarty, was born in Texas, Dec. 4, 1896, and educated at Pauls Valley. Entered service June, 1917, and trained at Camp Travis with Co. A, 315th F. Sig. Branch. Fought at St. Mihiel and Meuse-Argonne. Promoted to First Sergeant. Had charge of the mechanical part of publishing the American paper for A. of O. Is now with Army of Occupation ir Germany.

D. F. PENDLEY, son of F. L. Pendley, Paoli, Okla., was born in Texas, Jan. 11, 1895, and educated at Paoli Entered service May 22, 1918, and trained with Co. E, 19th Inf., 18th Division, at Camp Travis. Was promoted to Sergeant Discharged at Camp Travis in February, 1919.

THOMAS GRANT COCHEL, Private, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Cochel, Pauls Valley, Okla., was born in Wynnewood, Okla., March 29, 1892; educated in the schools of Pauls Valley. He entered the service August 20, 1918, and received his military training at Camp Fremont, Cal.; from this camp was ordered overseas four different times and each time order recalled. However he stood ready for the duty whatever it might be until his discharge, which occurred at Camp Pike, Feb. 1, 1919.

ROSS O. LILLARD, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Lillard, Maysville, was born in Oklahoma, Sept. 10, 1898, and educated in Oklahoma. Entered service April 6, 1917. Went to France, September, 1917, with Co. G, 23 rd Inf., 2nd Div. Fought in first battle American soldiers were in. Was wounded in knee by shrapnel Sept. 12, 1918; in hospital four months. Received one citation. Discharged at Camp Funston, January, 1919.

WILLIAM E. DIXON, Private, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Dickson, Maysville, Okla., was born in Pike County, Arkansas, March 3, 1896, and educated in the schools of Arkansas, and educated in the schools of Arkansas and Oklahoma. Entered the service Sept. 19, 1917, and received his military training at Camp Travis, Company B, 357th, Infantry, 90th Division; embarked overseas May 3, 1918, and landed in France; fought in the battles of Argonne; uninjured; received his discharge at Camp Funston, Kansas, May 26, 1919.

JOHN E. JENNINGS, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Jennings, Wynnewood, Okla., was born there Jan. 10, 1894, and educated in Wynnewood and Tishomingo. Entered service Sept. 20, 1917, and trained with the 90th Division at Camp Travis. Went to France with Co. B, 112th Inf., 28th Division, and fought in the 5th German Offensive. Received shrapnel wound in right arm. Discharged May 14, 1919. at Camp Funston.

LOUIE BALLEW, son of Mrs. L. Ballew, Wynnewood, Okla., was born in White County, Arkansas, April 7, 1893, and educated at Wynne-wood. Entered service Sept. 20, 1917, and trained with 164th Depot Brigade at Camp Travis. Went to O. T. C. at Camp Pike. Received commission as Second Lieutenant at Camp Funston, where he was discharged.
