ARCHIE WILBURN SPEIR. son of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Speir, Walter, was born in Comanche, Okla., Dec. 10. 1895, and educated at Walter. Entered service August 17, 1917; trained at U. S. N. Training Station No. B. Norfolk, Va.. U. S. S. Mississippi. Discharged Dec. 15, 1918, at Norfalk, Va.

TOM G. SMITH. son of Mrs. Jossie H. Smith, Temple, Okla., was born in Collin, Texas, Sept 26, 1888. Entered training August 26, 1918, it Camp Pike. Discharged Dec. 15, at Ft_ Sill.

SGT RAY PAYNTER. son of J. M. and Retta Paynter. Walter, Okla., was born in Kerwin, Kan.. April 12, 1895, and educated at Walter. Er, tered service Aug. 20, 1917, and trained at Kelly Field with 103d Aviation Corps. To France Dec. 8, 1917, with Aviation Corps. Was Discharged at Camp Pike, May 24, 1919.

CHARLES P. PAYNTER, son of J. M. and Retta Paynter, Walter, was born Oct. 30, 1893, at Kerwin, Kan. Educated at Walter. Entered service Dec. 13, 1917; trained with 138th Aerial Squadron, Ft Sill, Feb. 15, 1918; went to Scotland, then to Toulon, France. In hospital two months in France. Discharged at Camp Pike, May 3, 1919.

CLYDE H. NEASE, son of A. J. and M. Nease, of Temple. Okla., was born Oct 22, 1897, in Fannin county, Texas, and educated in Walter. Entered service Nov. 8, 1918, trained with 387th Engineers, at Camp Cody. Discharged at Camp Cody.

WILLIS FRANK NEASE. son of A. J. and M. J. Nease, Temple, was born August 29, 1895, in Fannin county, Texas, and educated in Walter. Entered service July 21, 1917; trained at Ft. Logan, as cook with 86th Division. To France Nov. 12, Discharged July 11, 1919, at Camp Pike.

CLINTON RUSSELL MUDD, son of Mr, and Mrs. G. R. Mudd, Walter, was born April 1, 1900, at Lamar, Colo. Educated in Oklahoma schools. Entered service April 6, 1917, trained at Great Lakes, on U. S. S. Texas. To England Oct 4, 1918, Discharged April 30, 1919.

MILTON M. MERSHON, son of L. A. and Marie A. Mershon, Walter, was born Oct 22, 1895, at Thorps Springs, Texas. Enlisted August 1, 1917, and trained at Kelly Field with Aviation Corps. To France Nov. 1, 1917, with 91st Aviation Corps. Fought at St. Mihiel, then went to Coblenz, Germany. Cited for bravery by French government. Dishcarged July 1, 1919, at Camp Pike.

LEE F. MERSHON, son of L. A. and Marie Mershon, Walter, was born in Grayson county, Texas, Oct. 9, 1893, and educated in Oklahoma. Entered service Feb. 18, 1918; trained with 36th Div. Ft. Riley. To France June, 1918; transferred to Medical Corps., 2nd Battle of Marne, Chateau Thierry, where he was wounded. Discharged June 3, 1919.

PAUL M. MERSHON, son of L. A. and Marie Mershon, Walter, was born in Texas, Sept 3, 1898, and educated at Walter. Entered service May 15, 1918. trained at San Francisco with Navy. To France June, 1918, as Navy Aviator. Cited by French government while Observer. Discharged at New Orleans, March 19, 1919.

RICHARD W. LAWRENCE, Walter, Okla., was born in Arkansas, April 6, 1889, and educated in Arkansas. Entered training Sept 9, 1917; trained with Co. K, 358th Inf., 42nd Co. 11th Reg. Bn, Camp Travis. To France June 19, 1918; fought at St Mihiel and Argonne. Left finger shot off. Discharged at Camp Pike, March 28, 1919.

SGT. OTHO E. EVANS, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Evans, Temple, Okla., was born March 15, 1896, in Oklahoma. and educated in Oklahoma schools. Entered service Dec. 10, 1917, trained at Camp Travis. Discharged Feb. 20, 1919, at Camp Travis.

ROLLO EARL EVANS, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Evans, Temple, Okla.., was born in Missouri, July 14, 1900, and educated in Oklahoma. Entered service June 6, 1918, trained at Mare Island, San Francisco. Discharged March 2-1, 1919, at Mare Island.
