Edna ALLEN

Services for Edna Mary Allen, 75, 700 W. 2nd, are 10 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of the Criswell Funeral Home. Lt. Eric McClure will conduct the rites and burial willbe in Oakman Cemetary.
Mrs. Allen died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Oct 17, 1905, in Arkansas to Thomas and Rachel Bray Tarwater, and moved to this area as a small child.
On June 4, 1922, she and Marion Hardy Allen married in Center. he died March 5, 1957.
Mrs Allen was a member of the Salvation Army.
Survivors include three sons, Joe, John and Richard, all of Ada; five daughters, Dorothy Turner, Fay Keene and Sue Wilson all of Ada, Roberta Harmon, Texas, and Marie Henry, Oklahoma City; two brothers, Edward Tarwater, West Virginia, and R.B. Tarwater, Ada; 45 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Grandsons Tommy Miller, David Wilson, Marion Allen, Ronnie Allen, Jeff Richardson, James Lee, Jerry Don Turner and Paul E. Turner Jr. will be bearers.

She was the widow of John who died July 14, 1953. Daughters: Thelma Turner, Martha Holbird, pearl Jump, Margie Czerwinski, Ruby Taylor and Eldora Hutchinson.Sons: Wesley and Leonard.
