Location: about 2 miles south and one mile east of Earlsboro
Existence:  January 25, 1892 - October 25, 1895
Name: Coined from the name of the first postmaster, Christopher Columbus TURNer
 

Pioneer families who lived near the town were:
M.G. Richerson,
F. Day,
Charles Koons,
James W. Williamson,
Charles H. McAlester, and
Emma E. Reed
