HOTULKEE/HUTULKEE
Ghost" town of 
Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma

Location:  4 miles east and 2 miles south of Tecumseh
Existed:  May 17, 1905 until 1911
Named for:  Hutulkee Martha, a prominent Creek Indian "Hutulka" meant "wind people"

Although the town never had a Post Office, it had a depot and railroad station. It was located on the old Katy Railroad between Shawnee and Maud. Early homesteaders were:
